I got the msi ventus yeah it's the cheaper model but it's over clocked and has 3 fans and only a 2 slot

There is a good reason. NVIDIA FE's reference design is blowing hot air direct into the CPU area which is causing a 20C raise in temperature, especially with air coolers. So the FE is less than ideal from that perspective.
