Haha. well, before this keyboard, I had the black mecha mini and the lights are DEFINITELY muted compared to the pure white one 2 SF. The RGB isn't as powerful as any of the other ducky keyboards with shinethrough (especially white versions) but it's still plenty bright and I can see everything well even in pitch black darkness.

The one thing that I really like about Ducky keyboards is the LEDs. They're bright and they shine around the caps so even when youre using caps that don't have shine though for the letters you can still enjoy the side glow.

Very true! I knew ducky was known for good RGB lighting but my black Mecha mini definitely felt a little muted so I was expecting somewhat of the same with the frozen llama. I was pleasantly surprised though. :)

If you get this I recommend to add soundfoam under the pcb and lube the stabs and switches with dielectric grease (stabs) and some superlube oil with PFTE for the switches (around 3ml for all switches). It makes it 10 times better.

It's hard to make a recommendation with no information. If it's your very first keyboard, I think cherry mx browns would be a good start. If the keyboard is going to be mainly for gaming and it's your first keyboard then perhaps cherry mx red.

It's a matter of preference. A lot of people do like blue switches but I don't like them. I prefer something a little more quiet. They are amazing to type on though!
