I notice that using HDMI cable on this monitor improves motion clarity compared with that on the DisplayPort cable, do you feel the same?
@innobtww8 ай бұрын
i did have a hdmi plug in for a moment but i didn't notice it. i might plug in a hdmi cable to test that. what hdmi cable are you using though?

@@innobtww Just the stock HDMI cable included in the box. I notice a jump in clarity in Valorant and Overwatch compared with the DisplayPort cable.

@@firezenlai2250 what's your discord?
@innobtww7 ай бұрын
@@firezenlai2250 so looking into hdmi vs displayport. the motion clarity is probably because displayport cable 1.4 uses DSC while hdmi 2.1 doesn't. DSC is compression so it would make sense but I don't think it would make too much of a difference but I'm going to try it.
@firezenlai22507 ай бұрын
As far as I know, 540Hz on HDMI 2.1 also enables DSC (you’ll notice 2-3 seconds of black screen when switching to desktop from game, while 500Hz doesn’t have this issue)

Why did you go with this panel over the Asus? asus has the reflex analyzer, gsync and gets brighter
