Bought my PS5 in November 2021 and until June 2023 haven't opened it at all. When i did i found extremely little dust and in the fan also. How? Well. Mostly I'm gaming from early October till in late April. My gaming hours are 4 hours maximum and 3 - 5 days max. Then i put my PS5 and it's accessories into it's boxes [ not the main box with the handle ] and place them inside my drawer which fits perfectly alongside the cables and controller. Every day i do this chore and it stays clean 99,9%. Btw i game in that period because i personally don't have A/C and it's colder thus making the console cooler so it performs at it's best....even if it has way better cooling than previous PS consoles.

it is not just because it has extra storage does not mean its better the detachable disk drive needs internet to be used and that can cause issues if you want more storage buy an ssd with a heatsink its an easy upgrade.
