23:56 That has to be the coolest high score entry screen ever! Still trying to get my 5200 console. I have 24 games but no console, just picked them up as I found them for cheap. Id love to find the Activision games, especially Keystone Kapers(even though I was kinda let down when I saw it for the 5200 but I still want it as its one of my favorite 2600 games) and Pitfall!.

I loved this video! I'm curious about your and Pete's collection. Do you essentially have carts only, or so you store the boxes separately?
@wiredupretro3 жыл бұрын
He has around 10 or 12 boxes in his collection (edit: oops make that 34!)- the rarest of which are an open-fold Zone Ranger box and a David Crane-signed Pitfall 2 box (also open-fold), among others. I have a good number of manuals (around 40 of the 69) and around 20 boxes(stored mostly separated from the carts)- the rarest of which are Miner 2059er, Mr Do's Castle, Zone Ranger (standard box), and Gremlins.

Hey Jenovi, I also have about 85% of the manuals, 50% of the boxes, and 100% of the overlays. Everything is stored separately usually for me to keep safe. How about you and your collection? What do you have?

@@repete1974 Hey Pete! Love the podcast, we need more episodes. As far as the 5200 goes, I have quite a few loose games, but have ended up with them by chance (typically when purchasing something else). I don't actively look for or purchase non-boxed games. CIB I have 21. Loose, maybe 20-30, but I don't track them. I think it's interesting that you and Steve both keep your collection separate. For me, it's more the experience and not so much protecting the material, even if I do care about that end of it. What I really want is the experience of opening the box, taking everything out, reading though the manual, putting the cart in the system, playing the game, then putting it all back together and in line where it belongs. For the 5200, there's something very special about this IMO.

Cool channel and video. I probably would return this game too ha, I never got really into Miner 2049er and related. (tho I oddly like Manic Miner). Anyway, I see the video is labeled as in Ohio. My husband is from Lima and we visit there often. Great content, keep it up!

I lived in Lima in the 90s. These days I'm living in central Ohio- Buckeye country :) Thanks for the encouraging words.

No mention of the other 2 variants? RealSports Soccer (Green picture) / Soccer (Orange picture) And Vanguard. The variant doesn't have the name of the game on the label on front

Okay- you got me there... now I know.

You did it! Can I ask you, how do you keep your game labels stuck on / reattach them if they start to peel?

P.S. I'm glad you guys "shared the complete 69 experience" XD
@wiredupretro3 жыл бұрын
An Elmers Glue Stick is probably what I'd say is the best option for reattaching labels to their carts.
