Am about to buy one of these myself in the exact same colour. I’ve heard that a batch of these had quality problems with the tuners failing and the the truss rod being stuck. I’d be interested to hear how you find the quality.

Tuners and truss rod seem fine, but it definitely needs an initial setup as the action came in high. I've made some adjustments to the truss rod and saddles to lower it down, but haven't been able to get to the factory-recommended string height without frets 12-15 buzzing. I'm currently working on getting a hold of a luthier in my area to take a look at it. I'll give an update once that's done

As an update, I had a tech look at it who refused to touch it due to how much bow was in the neck from the get-go. Currently working to get it replaced. Will let you know how the replacement turns out.

Wow, that must be very disappointing for you. Not what you would expect. Now am having second thoughts given your experience. Thanks for the update and I hope that you get the issue resolved.

@@julianwoodman2338 Thanks, I'll definitely keep you posted. Strangely, I bought one of their Sub series basses (the most budget-friendly version) and it came perfect right out of the box. There's a review on musicians friend for this exact bass where the guy says he had to go through 3 of them, but the third one was fantastic.

Oh, that’s not good. I guess the only sure way to ensure that you get a good one is to buy one from a physical store which isn’t easy to do these days. I’m in the UK by the way and am hoping that they got a good batch!
