Thanks mate. Your review the only one I've seen that actually explained the innovative features of this tuner. I bought one! Love the T.C.!

Does the pedal work for all drop tunings?
@drkwoods Жыл бұрын
Why won’t this thing recognize low E on my acoustic Taylor?
@RudyGOfficial Жыл бұрын
Strange. It should work for electric acoustics. If it can accurately register each string except the Low E, then I will make sure it's in the standard tuning setting. Hopefully that's the case because I don't have any experience with this pedal on electric acoustics and am unable to provide first hand feedback.

seems clutch to have for performances depending on how much a player switches tunings for tracks. cool its kinda small too so it ain't taking up too much room on a board
@RudyGOfficial3 жыл бұрын
Definitely. It shortens tuning time and saves space on the board, especially since it doubles as a buffer.
@skitzowitsyo2 жыл бұрын
Since there is a buffer built in this tuner. Do I still need a dedicated output buffer on the end?
@RudyGOfficial2 жыл бұрын
Hello! A dedicated output buffer is needed for setups with long cables and/or a lot of pedals; otherwise, the Polytune3 would suffice. Hope this helps 😁

Does the buffer add extra noise? I have a JHS Prestige buffer and it clearly adds extra noise.

From my experience it does not add noise.

How do you turn it on? Got mine today and doesn't work
@RudyGOfficial3 жыл бұрын
Hello! Make sure the 9v power supply, input for your guitar, and output to your amp/other pedals are all connected. It should now turn on when you stomp on the ‘on’ button. Also, I find it doesn’t turn on until a guitar is connected. Hope this helps and let me know if you were successful! 😁👍🏽
@DBZGazettE523 жыл бұрын
@@RudyGOfficial its my only pedal. I have the 9v to the polytune3. I also have my guitar in the pedal and nothing else. Does the pedal need to be connected to the amp as well?
@RudyGOfficial3 жыл бұрын
As long as the 9v power supply is connected, the LED screen lights up as soon as I insert the guitar cable to the input (right side of pedal). I then hit the stomp button. Four small red lights on the LED screen should turn on to indicate it’s on. When I strum the guitar, the tuner reacts to it. I can do all this without connecting the pedal’s output to an amp or other pedals. If that doesn’t work, I would disconnect the power supply and open the back plate to adjust the buffer/bypass switches. I currently have mine with the top switch ‘switched right’ and bottom switch ‘switched left’. Hopefully it’s not broken and you can get it working soon 🤞🏽

Is it possible to tune A = 432 Hz with this tuner ?
@RudyGOfficial Жыл бұрын
No unfortunately. The pitch range is 435-445Hz. It can’t go lower than 435Hz or higher than 445Hz.

@@RudyGOfficial Thankyou for that quick response . Any thoughts on the best tuner for A = 432 Hz ?
@RudyGOfficial Жыл бұрын
@@-Atmos1 I personally use the Super Snark clip-on tuner, which has the range of 415-466Hz. I'm not aware of a pedal with a range similar to that or more. Hope that helps!

@@RudyGOfficial Cheers , just to add , have TC Electronic made an upgrade for the pedal recently so that it's possible to tune lower ?
@RudyGOfficial Жыл бұрын
@@-Atmos1 I haven't came across one by TC Electronic, but maybe look into the Peterson StroboStomp HD Pedal Tuner. This tuner has a reference pitch range from 390Hz to 490Hz. Is a bit more expensive though.
