I have had a ZOOM H2 small recorder for years and recently got a B1XFOUR bass effects pedal I'm very happy with. ZOOM products are reasonably priced and full featured. The instruction manuals are written well. I look forward to seeing how you like your new L6 it looks really nice.

Cool! I had the H2 and mine finally died a few years back and I replaced it with H5 that was a bit too big for me. Had the r-16 for a bit bit wound up selling both of those for various reasons. So far he L6 is the best mixer / recorder I have tried from zoom. missing a screen does not really hinder anything for the cheaper price.
