When Angels' Share hits that point in the dry down where the oak comes out more prominently and balances out the sweetness, it's absolute fire. I made the mistake of spraying it for my daughter and she promptly burned up my whole decant. 😭

The main thing I didn't like about Moonlight in Heaven was it leaned feminine. But now I don't know lol. I feel like I should try it again. Great review! I love Killian's concepts, the fragrances just never matched my vibe.

Hey Justin! I have sampled Black Phantom, and absolutely love it. I want to get another sample of it to test it out again since it's been a while. I've smelled Angel's Share, and was not actually a fan of the opening. The dry down was okay. I literally just got my high partial of Overture Woman! I am so excited to wear that in the cooler months. That's my preferred DNA for that boozy feel.

I love angel share as does my wife. It's the sweetness and boozeness that I think I like the most. I also had a decant of black phantom I loved it as well my wife didn't like it as much hence why I don't own it. I do own a few scents that are just for me but her approval always helps lol. I totally understand! I don’t think any expensive fragrance is worth considering a full bottle purchase until you sample it, and that is much cheaper. As I mentioned, there are links in the description to get some decants.

Black phantom has that wow factor when sprayed. I owned it for a season but sold it off as for me it just became too sweet and it annoyed me when I had it on. For me it became too cloying and even juvenile. I like sweet dark scents but this one went over the top. Even intoxicated did not work for me. On paper I like it on my skin I smell like I spliced coffee on myself and it dried on my clothes.

I have a clone of black phantom that I’ve had for years since it’s so damn strong, stronger than the original which when I finally got to try the original BP, I actually preferred it being weaker. Stronger isn’t always better gentlemen.

I bought 2 samples from kilian. I bought Black Phantom, and Straight to heaven. I must say I don't understand the hype, both of these are very off putting to me. If I take the small wiff of them I can almost stand them. If I breath normally, they start of sweet but cut to a very sharp unpleasant mid to ending to me. Straight to heaven has a heavy rubbing alcohol smell to it, and Black Phantom isn't so bad after dry down but is still very off putting. I'm glad I went with samples first.

I think my nose just isn't refined enough yet. I haven't found any niche fragrances that I like yet, even with having bought some from kilian, amouage, BR540, and a couple others. I think I might try more challenging designer fragrances to build up to the niches.

@@stevenlamarr6833 , what about Armani Code, Azzaro Wanted, or Tom Ford Costa Azzurra? I think all of those smell very nice/manly/lovely, but don’t see them as overly complicated or challenging.

I agree 100 percent about the rubbing alcohol smell in STH and BPhantom is for a Vampire 😂or something. I was going to give up on Kilian and then I smelled Angel Share ohhh-Its is one of my favorites. I won’t give up on Black P though it’s got to be something I’m missing. Yes each nose is different.

My top 5 currently, not having tested that many: 1. Black Phantom 2. L'heure verte 3. Apple Brandy on the rocks 4. Apple Brandy 5. Blue moon ginger dash Angels share is not even in my top 5 😮...not that it is bad, just prefer these 5. Vodka on the rocks would be the worst from the brand for me at the moment. Black Phantom is also the only one i actually purchased, the other i just got decant...not a surprise is it is also in my top 3 best perfumes ever!
