it's for credits on the weverse shop. (for example if you scan it on the weverse shop app you get like $0.20 off your next order or whatever). katie doesn't need to hide the code because she doesn't buy her albums off of the weverse shop. also she has said in multiple bts & txt unboxings that the viewers can just take the code. (it's a one time scan tho so it would be first come first served)

I got the albums too a month after they released it, and with Arcadia, the same thing occurred with me. I was given a Soobin photocard, and a Beomgyu with Kai's little folder. And with Sanctuary, I was given a Taehyun folder with his other photocard and 'student licence.' Mix up, maybe?
