In my personal opinion, the video to unbox the equipment is really in poor taste. It is mocking and condescending rather than actually exciting and supportive, which is what those with disabilities face every single day. As a teacher of 22 years and a mother, I find it very inappropriate and highly unprofessional. Whoever thought this was funny or entertaining needs to spend more time around those the product actually serves and research the impact of tone and sarcasm, like struggling to open the package? Swearing? Those who use the eye gaze have limited mobility and probably always have someone over their shoulder, helping with hand over hand or other tasks. It’s just bad.
