What's the use of having an outdoor camera if you only have a short cable and non weather proof charger that needs to go indoors ? How about battery operation ?

I put mine outside a window. Ran the flat cable through the bottom of the window and still allows me to close and latch the window and plug it in a nearby outlet. This unit has no battery.

everything is awesome about this camera the cable show up, the proprietary or design of that cable stops the owners (like me) who use 25ft after market cable to install their Cam V3/V2 previously, no way for us to replace them to Pan V3. This design idea is limiting the sales of Pan V3 at this point.

I’ve read the CP V3 won’t work with long extension cables. I’m using 3m extensions and my CP V3s are working fine. I haven’t tested beyond that but read somewhere that 15 ft cables won’t work. Not sure why unless it’s voltage drop. Anyone tested longer than 3m cables?

Installed it myself without any issues. The wifi signal is great even kzbin.infoUgkxE_D_sddGAdiVUKp7PkkmyxO7bRtgqmk5 when the router is located far away. I really enjoy the night vision feature that allows me to see clearly any activity near our house (mostly cars and wild animals). The motion detection is helpful to me as well to monitor what happens on our front.

Es muy cara para lo que ofrece. Yo compré esta versión hace 3 meses y dejó de trabajar la función de acceder a las grabaciones de la microSD desde la última actualización hace 3 semanas. La app no te permite acceder a la MicroSD aún y cuando hayas reinstalado todo (cámara, red,sd) incluso la misma app, desde hace más de 5 años que tengo cámaras Wyze más sencillas siempre ha sido muy problemático acceder a la MicroSD pero esta versión PRO salido mucho peor.

I just ordered one, I just got it I’m watching this video before I even opened it. I got it to replace the V3 at my front door on my house I spent half a day running the wire behind the Sheetrock and door trim, I am not doing that again. Is there a adapter for the plug or do I have to return it?

I have a question. I have 6 Wyze Camera, Wyze camera V3 pro & pan V3. 2 days ago, we lost the internet, and then it came back after calling our provider . When it came back, none of my cameras worked . I called Wyze & they said we don't support 5G. I told them what you mean? I have been having the same service. Nothing has been changed , & they keep saying the same thing. They don't support 5G on these Cameras. But I have been having 5G over a year. Do you have any feedback for me please?

As a not tech advanced person, I've trouble understanding how is it okay to unplug a cam while mounting to push the cable through the hole... Why to not to warn a user ahead? Second trouble of mine is that I stupidly can't find a microphone button on the new interface of the app - I've SD card, Take photo, Record, Privacy mode, Siren, Track motion, Timelapse, Pan scan, Album. This is it. What happened to microphone button, where is it lost? Next thing I don't like about the app is that I can't make the camera move by rotating the circle with my finger but have to tap arrows for each move so to redirect the cam facing opposite side right away isn't an option. This is not how I imagined manipulating it. Maybe I'm wrong because I'm not a tech person, maybe I'm doing something wrong on the app,- I don't know. But I've tried - no success)

Can you activate the privacy mode any other way besides hitting a button with your phone? Like can you use a rule to make the camera switch off and go into privacy mode at a certain time for example?

I would like to use this to replace a V3 that I have mounted outside which also has the clip-on spotlight. Questions: Can I still use the spotlight with this (I don't need to rotate the camera more than 180 degrees so no wire tangle would happen)? Sence I would have to use the power cord that comes with the camera, could I use a USB-to-USB extension to extend the power? Last question- I now have Cam lite on my V3, would I still be able to get my 7 sec. cloud videos with this camera?

Thanks for reaching out! At this time, both the Cam Plus Lite service and the Spotlight Kit are not compatible with Wyze Cam Panv3. Also, although we'd encourage you to use the original power adapter, you could use a 3rd-party power adapter as long as it has a 5V/1A output. We hope this helps! Make it look live at all the cameras at once in one tab .. Lets say you have 3 cameras and you can watch them live wothout going one by one that is a PAIN ....

You can do this! Just make a Camera Group in the Wyze app, and you can see all the cameras in the group at once. I created a group for all my indoor cams and one for all my outdoor cams. It’s probably my favorite Wyze app feature.

I really like all of the features but as others have mentioned, making it rechargeable so I can put it in places the cord won't reach such as a tree that overlooks my vehicles, and giving it a spotlight to scare away burglars, would make it where I would buy it. Everything else about it is great so far. I love that it has the siren but in the middle of the night, I'm not turning that on to scare away anyone in my neighborhood. I have elderly neighbors. I can just imagine them having a heart attack due to the sound. You sell a rechargeable unit but it makes you have to buy another camera first before that one will work. I only need one camera so that is not worth the money. My review is over. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.

If it were battery powered, it wouldn't last very long. You're better off getting a solar panel with an internal battery to run it.

The camera will have connection issues all the time. This is not a very reliable camera, especially when you need it. It will not work. The app does not connect. There is no internet connection. The support is very poor. Do yourself a favor and avoid this at all costs. This will give you tons of headaches. Save your money and buy something better. I wouldn't trust this company again.
