Great ideas! The glass alone on that Christmas tree is probably worth $45 - 50 for a 16” piece! I was just at Bullseye.

During a workshop a friend of mine made a 30cm square clear bowl with a big white flower in one corner. She thought it was meh... and took it to a thrift shop :-)

I bought a poor little fused glass shallow bowl that I found on the clearance rack at a local resale shop. Definitely more money invested in the actual glass than I paid for the piece. But I just couldn’t leave it abandoned in that dusty corner. I’m guessing your holly berry tree was a gift for someone. Someone who didn’t understand or appreciate, and was just clearing and downsizing. Sad, but a great score for you!

This was a piece of pick and paint at the studio in Hawaii, I cut mine by hand, it was a good day for cutting. I made mine with adventurine
