The stick is good lag is created with many variables, too many people using your router same time for example. A Google mesh network solves this problem but likely you don't have that, buy it and return it if u get lag, but I doubt you will. And if you do you'll get lag with every stick till you replace your router.

Your motherboard may be too hot and heating up your ram, if thats the case wifi speed wont fix it.

Internet speed is based on how much bandwidth speed to coming into your house and then to different devices that may be linked to it. This usb dongle is a single wifi device and will get ALl the speed bandwidth maxed on your plan if nothing else us connected to your wifi network. If u have 5 Google or Alexas on your network they link to your wifi router and it uses a but of your bandwidth all the time. So if u have a desktop with thus USB it would get subtracted from total bandwidth. If 2 people have 2 laptops then total bandwidth speed will be split between them as long as the wifi device is equally capable of transmitting the speeds

plz reply bro actually we have a shared wifi connection with our neighbour both are dividing the plan as our use is less both get at less price my query is i have tp link wn 722n 150mbps white color adapter for my pc the router is located in ground floor of neighbor house which is tp link archer 4 antenna black one and my house is just right side 2 walls away but with this tp link adapter which is only 2.4 GHz i get speed only 5 Mbps sometimes 7-8 Mbps but it differs and drops very frequent in first floor but same in ground floor i get almost close speed like 35-40 mbps on laptop and the wifi internet plan is 50 Mbps plz can you let me know that if i purchased this one will it be give more speed and cover more area becoz on my pc the wifi range shows 4 signals but speed drops shall i choose the tp linkg ac600 or tp link 1300 one

Hey honestly u should split on a Google Wifi mesh network with your neighbors to solve your speed and connection issues. A stick will only do so much if it connects to crappy routers

Yes and no. Router essentially divides bandwidth across the building or area. If u have further places like a basement speeds will be slower if the router is on top floor. It doesn't increase max speed

i bought it for a gaming pc and it's been giving problems lately (especially with rocket league). speedtest is okay but sometimes ping reaches 400 and sometimes i have lag without the game telling me... I had the same probelm with an other tp link wifi scheda di rete... any possibilty after some time these devices need to be changed (in my case not even a year)? Ps this problem occurs with every internet connection I use (including hotspot)
