Thank you for this information, was very helpful. And some things to add, than can help : 1. With donor_prodinfo.bin copy and the donor.keys in switch folder. 2. Download the newest version for EmmcHaccGen-GUI. The old one in the archive will not work with newer firmware. At this time the highest firmware that is supported is 17.0.0. 3. If you use 17.0.0 (or higher if possible) after you are done and you run official firmware the console will stuck on black screen. This is normal and is caused from systemwipe. It will happen on firmware from 17.0.0 or up. Systemwipe messed with some files, it always do that but before firmware 17.0.0 was not a problem. To fix it run one time the latest atmosphere from mmc. Atmosphere will fix the problem automatically. 3. Unfortunately the original firmware will never work correctly - most of the times you will never pass the configuration screen with the language and time. After you configured them it will give you system error. Even if somehow it work you cant use online functions, you are missing a lot of data, that this switch need. You even dont have a real serial number anymore. 4. For now on you can use only CFW on this console. Witch is not bad, not bad at all.

I would like to say thanks for all the guides, very informative and straight to the point. Got a V1 Switch tablet only that a part from damaged SD connector was also bricked with no backup or able to extract the Keys methods one and two failed, but this last one seems to be the fix. Now I just need to get some joy cons to pass the initial setup and do some testing but so far so good.

@@tanerdelle5676 kind of hard to explain, I've done quite a few of these, as far as modding them and had never messed one up, I have several with picofly and two that are unpatched, so one of the ones I have that's unpatched I had recently put a different menu on which I had never done before and I had accidentally updated it which in the passed was never an issue, so I went and wiped the memory card thinking that would fix it, when it didn't I freaked out thinking I bricked it when I didn't and was stupid and didn't back up the nand because I thought it was no good. Well it turns out that it was because I forgot to remove the menu which I was told I had to do but forgot but by the time I realized this I had already bricked it trying to flash it. I can still get into the hekate menu and have access to SD card, I followed the Instructions here several times and haven't been successful.

I was told by the original poster that I would need to reflow or re-ball my emmc chip, that was not the case. I just needed to replace the module and then use my original nand backup to restore. After restoring nothing was working because it was a stock fresh clean and backup. So I was on the lowest firmware. From that point I had to update atmosphere and then update the firmware using daybreak and all is good!!!!! Just got done doing a nand backup And archiving it in 20 different places in a zip file. Lol

It only works for exfat. You can use fat32 after unbricking the console. I've said it in the beginning of the video, we need to use exfat sd card.

This method is for hacked consoles only. So if your console is stick on joycon logo, there is something not right on the joycon connector inside the tablet.

OLED gets stuck at the Nintendo Switch logo. I tried level 1, then 2, and finally 3 (no issues). I work in IT and this has been easy to follow, I always start fresh. New SD card (sandisk official) and format it as exfat for the donor nand restore, then i switch to fat32 with latest hats pack to boot switch but its the same problem. I've tried different SD card readers, different firmwares (latest 18.1.0 didn't work so i tried 17.0.1, my fuse says it expects 17.0.0+). I tried older hats pack, no SD card and bypass chip, atmosphere and hekate on their own without hats, but always stuck on nintendo switch logo. I guess something is broken inside? (This started when I used Linkalho, it corrupted my fat32 SD card and somehow my switch stopped booting cfw or ofw. Now I cant boot anything.) Thank you for your videos though, they are very well done.

Without the SD Card, it shows a red icon of an SD Card that says "boot.bin?" After inserting SD Card, the payload injects but the screen stays blank. Serial number has been checked and is not patched. Any ideas?

I have a switch lite and I soldered the cpu part flex cable on the board BUT I didn't connect it yet on the chip of hwfly. Now, I tried turning on the switch (just testing it if it will boot ON) then it turns on fine. Then I proceeded soldering the upper part left side of flex cable (the ABC gnd points), and after soldering I turned it in again then it boots ON. Lastly I soldered the upper right flex cable (the one that has + symbol) then for the last time I tried turning it on but it doesn't able to boot up anymore. After trying to turn on multiple times, I saw once a purple screen (not sure if purple or violet but It's light purple). Is my switch lite DEAD already? (I didn't connected the main chip hwfly on the flex cables yet)

@@sthetixofficial I've actually helped someone fix theirs, and it required an updated EmmcHaccGen from what is in your pack, and also a different donor prodinfo. There was a critical bug in fixing FW 17+, so you really should update the pack. Not only that, but the saves script, hekate, atmosphere, and also lockpick (which is easiest to find the latest from finding an attachment on gbatemp). Anyway, your guide plus a newer emmchaccgen, helped out a third party. I was personally assisted by your OLED mod chip install videos. You're awesome! Thank you so much for what you do!

This has helped me to recover several unpatched switches with dead eMMCs. But it does not seem to work with Marikos. After doing all these steps I get the "unable to identify package1" error. HW&Fuses won't also recognize the HOS version. Any idea what has to be done differently?

Hello, i wiped my sysnand with tegraexplorer , the reason was the parental control lock, after process my console only boots on emummc mode, in stock mode just show Nintendo logo and black screen permanently. This level is right for me?? Thanks and greetings

To those that love saying it's impossible well one things for sure nothing is impossible , someone will always find a way eventually. When nintendo switch first console release peeps were saying its impossible to jailbreak and now v1 and v2 jailbroken 😅 , to the latest oled all you need are modchips with some solder skills or seek help bam jailbroken 😅 so nothing is impossible .

if u have the original nand intact, just do the emmchaccgen step without the donor nand.. and i dont know about the likle tool. i will look it up.

I have a switch oled mod with picofly and have corrupted nand. Unfortunately this guid doesn't work, because I can't run atmosphere, just hekate without NYX. SD Card reader is ok. Is it possible in some way to boot into atmosphere with a corrupted nand? And other question: is it possible to load atmosphere with a new "clean" solderded emmc?

Just replace that picofly and use a proper one. Picofly is known can damage the console. And btw i've uploaded a new guide fo the level 3 method.

Thank you for the answer! Also with other modchip it's impossible to run any payload. I seems the NAND is corrupted in a very early position, because there are problems to read from sd card, but card and slot are OK...

i followed the video 3 times, and i always get blank screen after nintendo logo. I did it with 17.0, and tried with 16.1 after, but with 16.1 i get nothing on the screen when i try to boot to ofw. i think the it burned the fuses. any tips?

Same with me. Nothing after the logo. I also need to unplug my switch’s battery every time I want to turn it on. This started happening after I installed haku33… please let me know if you figure anything out.

@sthetixofficial unfortunately, no... when I got the switch, it was already bricked. Someone tried to fix it, and i think they wrote some donor nand over the original because it showing decryption errors.

Did the guide because no backup or keys available. Switch was dead with broken nand. Did all steps, fw with latest 18.1.0., switch boot in sysnand only to nintendo logo. Create emunand, start with fusee and works. But when ininsert a game, get a athnosphere error screen. When i start any game he said invalid software. Did i anything wrong?

You need to replace the prodinfo with the one from donor, not from scratch, maybe that will fix the issue have you tried using my hats pack? sthetix.info/hats-releases

@@sthetixofficial hmm maybe. Could it be that in the first step when the donor_prodinfo.bin is copied to switch folder, it have to rename to prodinfo.bin? I try it again now, and use the latest HATS pack from yesterday. maybe it the higher firmware version is the reason for the issue, because switch hat blown fuse 19 and hos keygen version 14. with 17.0.0. Firmware.

I have a switch with a damaged emmc, hekate said it failed to init emmc. No backups, prodinfo, boot0, nothing. Bought a emmc module replacement and it detected correctly in hekate. Can i use this method to rebuild the nand? Edit: it's an ofw, never jailbreaking it before.

I'm in the same situation - no backups, failed to init emmc in hekate. Used ofw. Tried an emmc reader to recover keys, but couldn't do it (device wasn't recognized). Is it broken beyond repair? Apart from re-balling, are there any other options?

@@sthetixofficial I tried reballing it using a cheap heat gun and well... now when I connect it to mmcblknx it starts to smoke, so that didn't go so well! :D On the brighter side - I just finished going through the process described in this video and was able to boot into stock FW. Thanks a bunch for the guide, you sir, are a true legend! Is there a point in using emuMMC after rebuilding NAND from the donor?
