This is absolutely the best version by an a capella group on youtube. The soloist has a beautiful voice and is flawless... very expressive and touching.

@clefhangerfan Ah. I was the Music Director of The Madison Project this past year at JMU & it's kind of taboo around here to do songs that other JMU groups have done, no matter how recent. Very interesting. I do love the Clefs & the song. Do your thing :)

@miauua For each year's Spring Concert every graduating senior who is leaving the group gets to select and sing solo/lead voice for a song of their choosing, which the group will then do the arrangement for and perform. Some of the seniors will have been in the group for 4 years and NEVER had lead voice/a solo because their normal voice part support was needed elsewhere (and because lead parts are auditioned for/voted on/selected for best suitability for each song, not 'everyone gets a turn').

@DeeJae2500 Yes, they did, in 2009 I think. It's not unusual for multiple groups, even on the same campus, to put their own twist on a particular song. In this case, it was selected by the soloist, A.J. Kiehner, for his "Senior Song".
