The Carolina Men's Soccer team went to overtime once again Tuesday night at Fetzer Field, but this time the game didn't end in a tie, and the Heels fell to the Clemson Tigers 2-1.
Clemson took the lead early by scoring 68 seconds into the game when midfielder Thomas McNamara got to the rebound after a penalty kick. The Heels were able to tie the game in the 68th minute. However, in the seventh game of the season that went into overtime, the Heels fell.
Clemson netted the game winner less than two minutes into overtime, handing the Heels their first loss in conference play.
