Even with the injuries to Rice, Brown, and Pacheco, I'm still not counting out the Chiefs. They have Reid, Mahomes, Kelce, Kareem Hunt, and an ELITE defense. All of their games this season will be ugly like this, but I think they are definitely still the favorite to win it all. Tough road ahead, but if anytime could navigate through this it's KC.

Chiefs find a way to win. Not gonna lie. This is a hard blow. Rice will probably be out longer. He has his criminal trial. Once that's completed, he'll face suspension. So it could be a long, long while before he sees the field again. Such a shame. Before that first pre-season game fans were eager to see a team with Hollywood Brown, Rashee Rice, Xavier Worthy, Isiah Pacheco, Kelce, Mahomes, all the others and see what they could do. So here’s the thing with Rice, Chiefs are considerably worse without Rashee Rice than they were before he was injured. But they are not worse than they were last year. You don’t need elite receivers with Mahomes, you just need guys who will not drop the ball when it hits them. And with an exception of Skyy, those guys are gone. JuJu is slower, but if you hit him with the ball, he’ll catch it. Justin Watson isn’t the best guy to throw deep, but it if you hit him on short to intermediate yardage, he’ll catch it. As long as Kelce does his thing and Worthy develops quickly, they can still be very good. They still need to activate a guy or two just for numbers, but they don’t have to break the bank. Also, don’t forget, there’s always two or three tight end sets. And there’s no reason you can’t have both Hunt and Steele in there at the same time and throw it to one of them.

I'm 83 plus and surprised Coach Prime said, "There are a bunch of receivers out there" ..... Easy to say Coach but not so easy to do. To ME the QB's get way to much credit. All the QB has to do is (just an example) get the ball within 3 to 5 feet radius of the receiver and the receiver is expected to catch it. NOT every receiver has the eye-sight to make this happen. So, I do not agree there are a bunch of receivers out there ...Well, there might be a bunch but there are only a few Mr. Jefferies.
