Chad might’ve quoted the Kendrick line a bit wrong but he got the meaning of it, Kendrick said he “Irony, I think my hard work let Lil Wayne down”. Kendrick is a big fan of Wayne (even made a mixtape called C4) & worked really hard to get to where he is today, to the point that he ended up getting the Super Bowl over Wayne this year. Now I think Wayne’s comments being upset were very honest & innocent, I don’t think Kendrick’s line was very personal either. Just kind of reflecting on the fact he got the Super Bowl and the conversation was mostly not congratulatory, even though it’s a massive moment in Hip Hop for any artist (especially solo) to headline. The line toward Snoop felt more personal & he let that one go too for the most part, Snoops post was funny though.
