Using AI to make music is neither creative nor genius, it is lazy and cheap, people need to stop acting like Kanye's 'vision' will be validated so they have to put all these disclaimers before criticising his artistic direction, and that's not mentioning the way normalising this kind of thing will inevitably lead to it being used against artists by labels and will reduce their worth

Personall after all this time, when it comes to kanye, i think the most accomodating thing to do in regard to kanye is to take him at his word. His mental health is not some externatily that hides the "true kanye who is actually cool and based" it is merely a desctiption of what is going on. We can only take kanye at his word that he believes the things he says he believes and never actually goes back on.

Wanted to jump in as an autistic person to say that autism is one of the communities that largely accepts self-diagnosis because of how biased the diagnostic criteria are against marginalized genders, ethnicites, etc and how underdiagnosed it is in those groups. Loving the Art but Hating the Artist may be easier when they are dead. Would Picasso be "canceled" if he was still alive? This is also happening in other fields. I guess my issue with what green is saying about ai, is i don't see what makes it better and i clearly see what makes it worse.
