Around 11:40 your animation shows variations, Delta, of the data along y by their standard deviations, but you call some resulting function "x half." What is this function? My first guess would be the range of chi squared that results from each deviation in y; but then "x half" would not be my first choice of name. "x half" seems to imply a position on the x-axis instead, but there is no mention of inverting the proposed model to get x(y)...
