i was at the movies 3 days ago and there was a really emotional scrne that related to my life, and it was hard to watch. i went to the bathroom and cried a lot. like, a lot. ny dad passed away 7 years ago, and his favorite song came on in the bathroom. it was "put your head on my shoulder". instead of leaving the bathroom, i stayed. i cried harder than before as memories flooded back in my mind. each one held an important meaning, and reminded me that lifes never going to be the same as it was 7 years ago. but ive realized that i cant do anything to stop the hurt, but i can help it a little. this song reminds me of me, my older brother, my mom, and my dad all together on christmas morning. we were all so happy, but when my dad died, my mom got depression. my brother went to college. i had to stay strong for my mom, but i was hurting almost as much as she was. she attempted suicide that year, but now we are better. ny brother has a good job and a girlfriend who cares about him. my mom is the happiest she's been since my dad passed, and i have a boyfriend who reminds me each and every day that im loved. im worthy. im beautiful. i still suffer from depression, but he makes me happy. always remember that there is always people who care. people who love you, people who care about you. if you're going through a tough time, dm me on my instagram. Please do more of these, when I listen to these, I close my eyes and just put myself in a mid 19th century scenario. Something about these are so satisfying but at the same time I can just open my mind and think about things. These songs also make me think about my grandad. How every now and again we will be sitting in the local pub, late at night just before closing time, jukebox on max, talking about the past. These kinda things just give me a different kind of satisfaction, PLEASE, KEEP DOING THIS! ps. maybe a suggestion: Stand by me (stormy setting). Everything I do (I do for you) - Bryan Adams (raining, empty bar after closing time) Time to say goodbye. Thanks.

POV: An old man walks into a run down abandon mansion where he rented a room for his wedding to the love of his life. There’s cobwebs on the walls and the curtains have holes from moths. There’s a layer of dust covering everything and the windows that reach the ceiling are broken. He closes his eyes, lifts his arms parallel to his chest, and his hands hold the musty air tenderly. As he begins to sway, we hear this echoing through the walls of that room as the perspective changes and things start changing color, the dust melts away and the cob webs dissipate. and just as we hear “I NEEEEDD your love!” We see the silhouette of his wife appear and she’s smiling at him in her wedding gown. We see them surrounded by their loved ones as everyone not only supports their marriage, but is proud of them. As the song closes, the colors begin to fade, the paint begins to chip, and all that’s left is the longing that folds the old man’s heart like praying hands that implore for a miracle. The end.

1 year ago I posted a comment on here, saying how lovely these videos were, how they made me disappear for a few minutes and get lost in my own imagination, how it always made me think about my grandad. Unfortunately 1 year later he has passed away. I came back here to listen to this. He wasn’t just my grandad, he was my father figure and my absolute best friend, no love can compare to the love I had for this man. I’ve never felt this broken... this lost... how can I live throughout the rest of my years without him... He was so loved by everyone. So respected. A Loyal man who would do anything for anyone, I would go through hell and back just to see his face again but I know I’ll never have that privilege. I know people will say “don’t worry, you’ll get through this, the start is always the hardest”.. but I’ve lost half my family and suffered many heartbreaks that have brought me to my knees on the verge of giving up on everything. But my heart has never quite broken like this before and nothing will ever fill the hole that has been left in my heart. At this point I don’t know if I will even be able to carry on life without him, but I’m trying. EVERYONE, I know it’s cliche, but spend every moment with the person that means the most to you, you think you can cope, but when that reality hits one day, nothing is gonna turn back the clocks and compensate for the regret or pain you may feel. Love you all!

POV: you go back to your childhood home, as you walk in you take in everything you left. The sweet familiar smell that embraces you. The warm lights hanging on the ceiling. The memories all flooding back in your mind, as a song that’s all to familiar turns on, as you escape from the memories for just a moment you see your childhood friend holding their hand out, in the middle of the ballroom. When you were both children you would slow dance together as the song played. *That’s why it’s so familiar* you thought as you stand a few feet before your childhood friend. “Will you take this dance my love” they say as they do a light bow, hand still waiting for you to take. Blush rushes to your face as you look that them, they haven’t changed at all and yet something is different. You push past the thought and take more steps closer to them, the music echoes around the ballroom, “how did you do this?” You ask to them, they smirk and tell you “only the best for my darling” which causes you to blush more. As you look up at them, you see a mysterious glint in their eyes, you can’t quite place what emotion it is but you dismiss it from your mind. “Well?....are you going to take my hand, I’m waiting” they say back straighten at their full height. “Of course” you say as you reach out to take their hand.....but that’s when you notice, the music is slowly getting louder and more distorted, the sweet smell is turning rotten, and the warm lights don’t give you warmth like they used to. You break eye contact with your childhood friend and pause, the walls of the ballroom are dirty and scratched, the floor has loose boards, some sticking out. And it’s dark, you look over at the hallway attached to the ballroom from where you came from and see a glimpse of something in the dark. But in your confusion, your childhood friend turns your chin back to face them, “now, now. Don’t be getting so worried my love.” They say with a dangerous smile. “The fun’s just about to begin” they say as they bend down and whisper in your ear. That’s when your eyes go wide with realization. The reason why you left, the reason you never wanted to go back and wanted to forget about the house, the lights weren’t warm, the smell wasn’t sweet, the music that played wasn’t the one you danced to with your.....your.....yourself. You never had a childhood friend, you always liked to make imaginary friends to help you cope with the death of your parents, the fire that started. Their screams begging to be let out....the chair wedged in between their door handle and the ground. You were angry and sad, why couldn’t they just let you play outside? Why couldn’t they just let you make friends? Why did they make you do this? It wasn’t that they wanted to do it.....but they forced you to do this. A voice pulling out of your head came as almost a low growl full of spite and anger, “you didn’t do this, it’s not your fault....my darling.....they put poison in your head, said you couldn’t be free” “b-but...weren’t they just trying to protect me?” You say as a tear runs down your cheek. “No th-“ the low growl was interrupted by the smell of smoke....you push the “childhood friend” away and they trip from a hole behind them, a long wooded spike at the bottom, penetrates their lower stomach. You kneel on the ground screaming as the fire finally reaches the first floor, the floor your on. “Ahh......I see.....I realize now....what I came to....to...do” tears stop from running down your cheeks, you look Over at the jerry can that once had gasoline in it, your lighter on the other side of you. Smoke clogging your lungs, making it hard to breathe. You remember you came here to end your suffering, after all the foster care houses you were in, after all the kids that bullied you, after all the times the house called back out to you, wanting you to set a flame in it’s heart. You came here after twenty years....just to burn this house to the ground....and everything in it.....including yourself. “Mhm....what a sight to behold” you whisper as you look at the scene before you, the flames dancing on the tops of the ballroom that’s filled with smoke. “Well....atleast I’m not alone” you say as you look around you, all your imaginary friends dancing together, the music to distorted to actually hear the lyrics. As you take your last breath, you sing to the last lyric that you hear...”oh my love...oh my darling...Ive hungered...Ive hungered...for your touch” and with that last note you fall into darkness, feeling that warmth, that sweetness, your skin melting like a snowman in summer ahh what a feeling......... THE END (All credit goes to the original creator which is me)

POV: The old king is playing his queens favourite song for the last time, remembering the night they met, all their precious memories, all for the last time before he joins his one and only love It had been years since the king had heard this song, it took him back to the night they'd met. Like most royal couples, he'd been standing off to the side when he saw her. A beautiful princess, an intelligent and elegant woman, and while a prince himself he knew she was too perfect for a man like him. She always had been, she was a natural born leader, a doting mother, and the perfect wife. Their kingdoms thrived, their people adored the family, and he was able to take her on many adventures with him. They ruled for many happy years together, until the inevitable happened. She got sick The nights dancing in the ballroom slowly danced around him, hearing her laugh, her voice as she sung her favourite song, teaching their children to dance... it was all so distant now. He could still see her, the gold crown she never seemed to take off, the diamond ring he'd given to her, dressed in the finest silks. She was ready for their last dance, and he was ready to finally see her again As the music echoed through the empty ballroom, he takes her ghost's hand and places a gentle kiss on the back of her hand before beginning their dance. Her hand gently caressing his cheek while offering a warm smile. The years of loneliness faded away, it was time. He hadn't actually ruled since her death, but most still referred to him as their king. But he was no king without his queen And as the song came to an end, and tears flow down his cheeks, she holds her hand out to him "It's time, my darling. Our kingdom is in good hands now, it's time for us to be together again" she whispered, and as the sun begins to rise, the song comes to an end, he takes her hand and follows her to their afterlife. All their memories become nothing but dust

You can't see human obviously but your friend told you he was able to go into their world not too long ago, after many tries you've given up for today. As you slowly drift to sleep you hear it. Unchained melody starts playing while it sounds like it's in the distance it still sounds so close. You lay there slowly starting to sob your eyes out like you've been doing for the past few days, quietly cursing time under your breath. You know who's playing the song, it has to be him. You want to get up and hug him, kiss him, tell him how much you miss him but you know you can't. Time wanted you two to suffer, not being able to ever interact. You've always blamed time for this, it hurt you so much over your lifetime. But you have said it yourself before, your heart couldn't be in 2020 when it belonged in 1970.

This reminds me of wedding party preparations before it starts and the DJ is sound testing and you’re just a kid running around the huge ballroom.

For some reason I can’t stop but think about Arthur Fleck dancing down the stairs. This song just helps me picture it better

the original song radiates passion but the echo makes listening to this song a less personal and lonely experience which combines with the emotional tone to create a very perfect synergy of romanticism which makes me very happy.

Imagine scavenging for supplies during the apocalypse and then you hear this coming from an old building. You enter and look around only to find an old vinyl player in the center of a large room

The boy you love is at the dance too. The moment you see him you lock eyes, but you get nervous and run out into the hall......you try to take a deep breath to gather your resolve. Suddenly at the climax of the song you turn and he is standing within arms length, a hand extended in invitation to dance. There in echoing hallway of the dimly lit dancehall you dance slowly in overwhelming nervous yet exhilarating embrace. That's what this song paints for me.
