Did you know that Elvis Presley also came to Hawaii and gave a concert there. My daughter was in attendance, and she still plays his records till this day. We're so lucky to have such wonderful "singers" in he past, and many more to come in the future. I listen to them everyday ... tons of them ...

I can’t think of one performer today who sings with such clarity! Engelbert is one of a kind and always will hold that place! BEST version I have ever heard of this song! The note he hits at the ends sends chills up my spine. I was honored when my daughter-in-law asked me to sing this song at her wedding reception. My, I now know how it feels to hear the "bobbysoxers" squeal when I started with "Oh, my love, my darling I've hungered for your touch . . . " sotto voce. What a rush!
