Lol no. Degens are what the space has. No episode can convert ppl into degens. If you want to put blame, then put it on VCs and a lot of institutional leaders. They help to foster grow this degen culture from the last cycle. They made degens rich from vaporware and all other sorts of nonsense. All the outsiders who thought Web 3 was a thing because reputable VCs and names put their stake into it, most ended up as exit liquidity for degens who knew it was a hidden casino all the time. Other examples include DeFi yield farming, sybil airdrop farming, and other vaporwares. Degens have all this cultural influence because they have capital - this space largely follows the money. Ask yourself. How did all these jobless degens get so rich from just hanging around in this space, if there weren't so much VC money funding these BS. Ansem can talk his butt off about how WIF is so relatable. The fact is, that coin got rugged and stay near zero for nearly a year. If it is so fucking relatable, why didn't it pump earlier? Meme needs whale money first and foremost. Again, it all circle back to, how da fuck do these degens who don't have jobs get so rich if there weren't so many BS VC projects letting these degens rinse newcomers dry.
