Jordan said the liberals have made significant changes to their immigration policy - they have not. Immigration is up 300%. They’ve committed to almost no real reductions. They capped international students at the all time high number. Immigration numbers themselves remain unchanged. International mobility worker numbers remain unchanged. And they hinted at a small change to temporary foreign workers - maybe 10% if I remember. There is quite literally nothing to advertise.

@@Sam19509 CPP is fully funded. That is why rate of contribution for CPP1 is much higher than CPP2. OAS and GIS are funded from general revenue. OAS was increased for people over 75. One of the goals of Enhanced CPP, 25% wage replacement to 33%, was ensure less people without pension/RRSP qualified for GIS in the future.

Cory is absolutely right bike lanes are a huge voting issue in Toronto. If you don't LIVE in Toronto you don't understand. One can not go anywhere in Toronto unless you have hours and hours to sit in traffic. To fully understand and THEN comment on bike lanes you are invited to come and witness the horrendous traffic on Bloor street which extends all the way from downtown to Etobicoke. Etobicoke is a basically a suburb of Toronto and Bloor is reduced to 2 lanes resulting in no way for emergency vehicles to get by (i.e. safety issue). It takes 25 mins or more to go a couple blocks and merchants on Bloor Street also want the bike lanes gone. Lots of seniors and they DO NOT bike in neighbourhood ... no SURPRISE! So YES YOU GO FORD and pass the bike lane legislation. There will be throngs of people cheering if it happens.
@sharonlott1986Ай бұрын
Bike lanes on Woodbine in East York are barely used and have caused major congestion. Same with bike lanes on the Danforth.

He wants his tombstone to read he was PM of Canada from 2015-2025. I predict he will announce he is dropping his re-election bid around March (March break great time for another family vacation) and will stay on as Liberal Leader and PM in the House till the Liberal Party completes a defacto Leadership race to replace him. This way he can bank more days serving as PM above Harper on the official Ledger.😂😂

Why are we talking about the NDP. They will never gain power ever. At best they could become the official opposition and that’s it and not with strong supporting numbers. If Poilièvre would simply talk like a statesman and tell the public what they want for Canada. Explain that most of us want something different and to take the country in a different direction.
@Sam19509Ай бұрын
Lol the NDP can form Government if they remove Singh as Leader and replace him with someone who can win seats in Quebec like Jack Layton or Thomas Mulcair. Absolutely not. PMJT does not need to apologize for spending Christmas with a life long friend who happens to be very wealthy His father PET came from a wealthy family ergo they had wealthy friends The real story here is that this family were life long friends of PET and now are life long friends of PMJT . The fact that PMJT has lifelong friends tells me something positive about his character. Besides Michael Cooper who are PP friends? This tells me something about PP’s character which is negative and scary.

But then peddling it for political points and doing more of it is not on. At a certain point, he starts to look like the bully.
