2:49 - 3:43 possible one of the best moments in any video game. Naughty Dog always know how to make a game feel like a movie

I agree. And it goes to show how important context matters. I mean someone who had never seen the game would say you are just driving a car through the jungle. But the context and story telling makes it sooo much more. It makes it a moment.

I loved this moment. I'm a terrible driver in video-games, but driving slow allowed me to take in the scenery and the beautiful, silent moment between Elena and Nate. The game blew me away, even though I haven't played the first three games! But I didn't feel lost at all!

I did the same mistake playing at first the 4th part! Then Chloe with Nadin story after, but I was so much into Uncharted world and into love with the story of Nate with Elena that later when I found out that I actually can play first three parts I was literally happy! I was just afraid that PS5 doesn’t support them so I skipped 😅 but now I play 2d part, it feels like a piece of puzzle of a great story that I build on my own Anyways, new Devon music moment made me into tears, great that we all met under this video!❤

Probably my favorite sequence in the entire game. It doesn't involve a dramatic set piece with everything getting destroyed or taking out multiple enemies in a convoy. Just a simple quiet drive that speaks so much. For me, this is the game's giraffe moment.

When you start driving and the music fades in, I could practically hear Nate’s thoughts. It’s so wonderfully done, it’s absolutely beautiful, and it brought tears to my eyes. As much as I love the Last of Us, I think this game is ND’s masterpiece

Props to Henry Jackman for this amazing soundtrack. I love Edmonson's work for the first 3 and that's irreplaceable but what Jackson did for this game set the bar even higher IMHO. The exhaustive level of story content equipped with this score created such a level of maturity about this game that the first 3 didn't have. But regardless of why Edmonson left, I respect both of their work.

Honestly, Henry Avery gave everyone a dream to a perfect life just to take everything they have and kill them for trying to reclaim it. Henry wasn’t seeking a paradise for everyone he was searching for his own paradise

Best moment in the game. I don’t care how many close calls there was in practically near death experiences almost missing a jump and falling to my death. Just a quiet drive with both of their conflicted thoughts, really hit me. It was during that silent drive up the mountain with neither of them saying anything did I then realize this was more than a game for me. I was fully invested in not just a game but a friendship and a bond with a woman I spent 3 other games with. Through thick and thin they were always there for each other and this game needed this moment. You can feel the distance between them and you know that both of them aren’t doing well moral-wise but they always have each other’s back. Absolutely incredible storytelling and the musical score for this scene was absolutely perfect. Very few gaming moments stick with me, but I’ll never forget this moment. Major props to Naughty Dog! Next stop: New Devon 2:46

There's a Japanese concept called "Ma," which essentially means a moment of emptiness. When telling a story, be it in a movie, TV show, or video game, sometimes you need a moment to pause and contemplate what has happened. Going from plot point to plot point can sometimes make the story feel rushed and unnatural. This sequence of the game is an excellent example of taking a moment to reflect. It's beautifully done and helps to elevate this game above others in its genre.

This isn’t just a video game it’s an emotion the music which takes over and the car voice is muffled it’s just a way that the game makes us have the same guilt and mind as Nate to Elena. An emotional ride this was.

I feel like this theme is just Elena's theme in general. It plays during the scene where Nate first arrives in Madagascar and lies to Elena which she clearly saw through if you read her face lmao, also plays again in the hotel room scene.

@kallelbrown9761 Жыл бұрын
@@asdfg1346on Far Cry 3 is an amzing game on it's own, I grew to love and really appreciate it as I grew older, but it's probably the only gane in that series with genuine meaning we as people can relate to. Uncharted 4 is on another level. It's the build up and conclusion of a franchise about closure, maturing and letting go of your struggles and attachments. It started off as another action and shooting game with a relatable protagonist to an emotional final chapter. A man finally choosing to walk away fron his passion and finally rest.
