Obviously that’s quite dramatic but it’s a similar idea. Kevin’s actions almost had the passports and tickets destroyed and the entire christmas pageant was ruined because of him. Sure he was being bullied in both situations but he didn’t react in an appropriate way. Also, it was 100% his fault for being in New York in the second movie

Uncle Frank is a douchebag for multiple reasons. (I'm not counting deleted scenes) 1. He won't let Kevin watch the movie, but the big kids can, and said movie isn't even rated R. Let's assume this movie is PG, and since Kevin is EXACTLY eight years old in the movie, he CAN watch the movie. (To watch a PG rated movie all by yourself without adult supervision, you have to be at least 8 years old) 2. While it's not his responsibility to pay for the pizzas when delivered, he could at least inform Peter about the situation. 3. During the commotion in the kitchen with Kevin and Buzz, Frank cares more about the fact that soda was spilt on his lap than the fact he accidentally squished his son Fuller behind his chair. He then calls Kevin a little jerk for it. Yes, it was a dick move for Kevin to tackle Buzz, but it was also a dick move on Buzz's part for eating Kevin's cheese pizza. 4. I'd give him a pass for complaining about how they wouldn't be able to make it from Winnetka to O'Hare airport in less than 45 minutes, as he was "being realistic", but I'm gonna include this anyway. 5. He eggs his wife Leslie to put pieces of crystal champagne flute glass in her purse on the plane. 6. When Kate realises that she forgot Kevin, he "comforts" her by comparing the situation to his reading glasses. 7. He served the shrimp too early. 8. He threatened to slap Kevin silly for interrupting his shower. 9. He fell asleep during the Christmas pageant, and then laughed at Buzz's "goldurn hilarious" prank pulled on Kevin on top of that. 10. He threatened Kevin not to wreck his trip and called him a little sourpuss for it. (Look who's talking, Mr. Cheapskate!) 11. He refuses to even touch Kevin's bag at the airport. 12. He hoards the presents at the end. My dad has 3 brothers and a sister. And they don't act anything like him.
