It always gets me when critics (like Sedgwick here) say things like "I'm not scared by this." Does Drew McIntyre intimidate you? I guess you really do hate Dominick Mysterio too, right? You're able to suspend reality to consume wrestling enough to critique it, but not here? That's so odd to me, and part of the reason why I have a hard time taking some wrestling personalities seriously. If you don't like it, you don't like it. That's fair. To add the caviot that this doesn't scare you, however, is misguided. And the camera operator bit?! Are you serious?! Only NOW?...ONLY NOW do you care about the scene falling apart because the camera operator is present? As if this isn't a TV show where a wrestler attacks an official or a referee and no one presses charges...where a match gets stopped do to disqualification, a beat down happens, and no one is arrested for assault....I mean hell, Bron Breaker and the Rock apparently tried to "off" Ricochet and Cody Rhodes respectively. You don't here anyone saying "well, this fell apart for me, because the cameraman was present for all of the home invasion angles I've ever seen, and doesn't that make them an accessory or accomplice to a break in? I just can't take this seriously."

Happy every week that theres a random camera man listening in on private conversations, but can't suspend disbelief over a camera man not being massacred when invited in by Nikki. Noone except sidgwick legitimately thinks that the people back stage were supposed to be dead. Take your own advice. Don't think too deeply. There were no 'exit wounds', jesus christ. Felt so sorry for Adam having to sit there and listen to them ramble on. Huge Dexter fan and happy he is back! Don’t understand the hate he was getting here, one of the best at character work in a long time which is an underrated element of wrestling these days. Feel like we need more variety, and should lean into the crazy stuff, life’s more fun that way!

Surely the first guy who talks for like 20 minutes straight without ever stopping to let anyone else chime in and makes you turn off the video before anyone else even has the chance to speak never actually paid attention to Bray Wyatt and doesn’t know who Sister Abigail is

I wonder why there wasn't a 30 minute rant about how nonsense it was for someone to be in a major motor vehicle accident, set on fire with a flamethrower, and still win the match. But THIS was a bridge too far.

I find the thing where dude says "It always fizzles out with Bray Wyatt" honestly so disrespectful. I get what he's trying to say, but Cult Leader Bray didn't fizzle out because of Bray's lack of ideas, the same with the fiend, creative McMahon was at fault, which is also somewhat relevant when you watch the documentary. And then the last time it fizzled out, granted, some people got tired of it because we live in this tik tok generation where people can't wait two months for a conclusion, but also it "fizzled out" because the man got really sick and eventually died. What a poor way to frame something.

Everyone that is a wrestling commentator online always tells us about how everything Bray did sucked, worst gimmick, worst feuds, etc etc. Meanwhile outside those people, Bray Wyatt is one of the most beloved characters of the last 20 years. It really does feel 99% of the time the only people that hated Bray run KZbin channels

Jungle Boy was set on fire...and then won a match. Just a reminder. And i like AEW. But glasses guy brought it up. Darby was run over and came bacl to the match. Lets not compare wrestling nonsense. None of it makes sense. Go with it. Or don't, but don't treat it like a lecture in a shitty community college by an overly inflated professor.

Pro-wrestling is all about suspending disbelief. If you can do that to think that wrestlers are actually trying to hurt people in a match, this is the same thing. It is about fun.

For the “it doesn’t make sense” crowd: if you “kill” the cameraman, your message doesn’t get out. Also pro wrestling doesn’t make sense 😂
@jithsiva34786 ай бұрын
The camera gripe is so dumb, cause if you're a cameraman, and freaky Nikki Cross points and tell you to go capture what they've done. You would go do it. Also the line "Don't think to much about it - I won't", and then overthinks it 😴

😮 oh yeah one other thing I don’t know if you guys noticed that you probably did. Chad, when Otis turned on him, he kept yelling in the ring, but we are family. You can’t leave me. I won’t let you in the backstage area when they left Chad again, stated you can’t leave me. We are family. I won’t let you. Then in the final scene of the show, Chad is the one that we can clearly see as the last victim of the night. So perhaps their motivation is family and those who are betraying or not treating family the right way at least that’s what I think.

Undertaker, Kane, Bray Wyatt the first time, Bray Wyatt the second time, Bray Wyatt the third time, etc. etc. It works fine, when done well, like most horroresque stuff. 99% of horror is trash, but that 1% has contributed some of the best movies in history. Because when it works, it works.

Theres a simple answer everyone but gable were crew members so you dont see them anyway and they might have wrote gable out for a while they havent mentioned a new contract for gable, thats why triple h and adam pearce wasnt there because you see them.
