Johnny D, I fell 30 ft down an escalator backwards and lived to tell about it. I'm 72, and God is great. He also cured a blockage in my heart when the Dr's thought I would need a Stent or bypass. When they did the angiogram they didn't see a blockage. Prayers work, and Jesus my Savior is great. Bless Stone, Godwin, Johnny D., and Si. Amen.

Well my faith is at a all time low. My mom passed away in 2019 and then my younger sister passed away suddenly and it crushed me. I tell people I'm doing fine but I'm not. I'd like to thank you boys for giving me a reading from the bible and sometimes it gets me thinking. I've almost gave up a couple times but I'm still here. God bless you guys for sharing the good in life with all of us.

Backing in parking space etiquette should be that if there is a LINE forming, do not back in 😅 is one of my biggest pet peeves…especially at church 😂😂😂

About backing into spaces. Especially in trucks. Many if not most major companies require their employees to back into parking spaces. Studies have found that backing into a parking space is safe, and cuts down on parking lot accidents. I do it all the time.

Had a neighbor years ago that was from Colorado. She and her husband lived in Texas for several years and decided they wanted to move back home to Colorado. Nope. They both nearly died from lung sickness because you can come down to sea level, no problem. It's when you return to high altitude, that's when the problems hit. They lived out their years in Texas, said they couldn't breathe up there anymore.

I took my normally fearless husband up the “million dollar highway” WAY up in the mountains between Durango and Ouray Colorado several years ago. I had been on the road with my parents at least a couple of times when I was little, but Ian was experiencing the Rockies for the first time. Now from what I hear it’s not as crazy as Pikes Peak, but its 25 mph with hairpin curves and the occasional RV coming from the other direction. My husband was driving but he pulled over at the first chance he got and told me I had to drive. He looked straight down at the car floor most of the rest of the trip. As we were coming down into Silverton the views were gorgeous and I asked him to take a picture…he kept his head down, rolled down the window, stuck the camera out the window as far as he could and shot. They actually weren’t bad 😂. When we finally got back to the main interstate he grabbed the map (this was in the olden days, lol) and wrote HERE BE DRAGONS in huge red marker over the route (nod to The Hobbit there) and he has never let me choose the route through the Rocky Mountains again!

I loved the Rocky Mountain State Park also loved Denver, Boulder & Colorado Springs. Never lived out there but my aunts did. I was amazed by how huge those mountains where. Being from the tallest point of south East Kentucky in a small coal mining mountain called Big Black here in Harlan Kentucky and these mountains don’t come close.

I drove charter buses in Colorado for a short time and drove through Divide almost every week going up to Cripple Creek. Those roads are fun in a 50 passenger bus!! Creed is a great little town too!

This flatlander loves Pike's Peak, especially the PPIC and practice plus surrounding hubbub, the cogway up and back, but above 9k feet I get altitude sickness. The medicine you start a few days before ascending is a game changer in the best possible way.

For the email that was sent in about backing in to the parking space, it’s much easier to back a big truck into a space than it is to pull it in. I drive a GMC 2500HD, and it’s so much easier to back into a space.

People back into a parking spot to avoid an accident. It's dangerous backing out in a Walmart parking space or a church parking lot. People are on their phones and don't pay attention.
