Thank you for your mercy, as we deserved judgement. Thank you for your compassion, as we deserved punishment. Thank you for your kindness, as we deserved death. I pray that you lead us not into temptation, which comes from our desires, knowing that our desires come from our heart; but to lead us into your loving arms. I pray that you rewrite our hearts, to genuinely desire you, Lord, so that we may see You for who You really are. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Been studying Luke along with you guys. Something stood out to me this time around. Jesus said, take up your cross daily. Before he was crucified, was there another meaning for the cross? I wonder why non of the disciples asked what he meant by take up their cross. Jesus knew he was going to be crucified, but the disciples were ignorant to how he was going to die at that time. Anyone have some clarification for that? Its something I’ve been thinking about
