Hey John, I’m a 28 year old and have rebelled against the church for 20 years, I’ve been to so many of those depths, you have over the last 4 months inspired my interest to follow the word of Christ and it’s slow but moving more every day, this is my 7th time hearing one of your services and I love your messages, your imperfections and your true faith in the lord, I am weak and must repent but with faith and willingness and above all else trust, my relationships have grown already in just this short while

Hey jack, I was in your shoes , hating the church because of the way some corrupt church leaders treated me my siblings and my widow mom for years. Had vast knowledge of the scriptures but didn’t want to share a Heaven with those type of people. I was in rebellion against God and enjoyed the world and all that it brings. September 2013 I fell so bad in sin that I got a wake up call from the Holy Spirit. I broke all connections with the world I was in, moved to another state and started attending church. I knew in my heart that those that wronged me are just humans , imperfect and that wasn’t a reason for me to reject God. I took a vow to be different than those that made me stay away from church and to live by the evil of God. I praise God for being part of a good church (not perfect one) where I’m always growing and strive to be like Jesus. I hope no matter what made you reject church has no more hold on you now and that you have the guidance of the Holy Spirit to show everyone what a child of God looks and acts like.

Anything to keep you distracted. Men will spend hours on their phone but haven't been on their knees for 10 mins in a day in years and wonder why they have no power of God in their life...? Wow you hit me right in the mouth! Thank you brother! I believe God used you to wake me up! Thank you

Thank you and greetings from brothers and sisters in South Africa. We had a Christmas visit to one of our congregation members and he shared a wonderful testimony. He told his family these people you see they are not white people, they have left their whiteness behind and have be ome Christians! Likewise we are not blacks following whites but we have left our blackness behind and have become Christians. We are a people following Christ. That was special way he explained, was reminded as I listened. Thank you and God bless you

I recently started leaving my phone in my pocket in social environments like church and now my brain and eyeballs have no idea what to do. Over ten years of staring at my phone to avoid being social... It's like a new world.

I'd really love to hear John talk about fighting spiritual warfare on another's behalf. I recently had my own supernatural reshaping by the grace of God and am a very new believer. The enemy no longer has any power over me, but I have loved ones who aren't fully on board and remain susceptible.

Pastor John - I absolutely love your candid, authentic preaching style. There's only a handful of men of God that I've been blessed to receive ministry from that are as down to earth, real, but yet immensely passionate about the Power of God to radically impact the realm of human affairs full of His love and grace -- as you. I've been saved for over 40 years - so I've been around 'the church thing' for a good bit. God bless you brother. I'm praying for you and your church, trusting (knowing) that HE is working is working mightily in and through Grace City.

Thank you for this service. I really needed it. It felt like an awakening of a sort and a reinvirgoration to my soul. Thank you for adding the prayers at the end. I know some may not think of this topic but its been on my mind a lot lately and I know the spiritual realm is real because I grew up in a shaman believing family. Ive seen things and it still bothers me today but I know that demons and unclean spirits fear Jesus and that we are loved and protected by Him. Praise be to God and his son. You've given me things to pray for, obvious things like my family, which I wasn't sadly. I pray God continues to bless your ministry in the name of Jesus.

the title of Acts could nearly be "The Acts of God" - and that's important. In the book of acts, the church makes errors, and calamity befalls them, society is against the church. And yet God, in his plan, and providence, accomplishes to bless and grow the church. Lesson for us - a healthy Christian has the desire to be part of a church body. 1 John also tells us so

My thoughts: Don’t chase things, envy is idolatry. Be weary of spending time away from God. Don’t be a victim, others will let you down and it will be their fault. But as a Christian you can forgive. Demons will have you believe lies. They want to isolate you from the church. Predators go for isolated members of the herd. Satan and demons will do the same. Jesus is both the lion and lamb. He is a warrior and king. The demons fear him. Their tricks don’t work on him. You need to invest in God and Jesus and have him at your side to defeat your demons. I ADD’d on everything else and will have to go back and watch this again.
