The place was Lazerdrome and the snowballs and china whites had just made an appearance on the scene. I was 18 years old and Studio 2's Dirty Games was the big new release.

We went to Innersense a few times back then...I remember a little sketchy but in a good way.. Sound was amazing and yeah it was what it was!!. It was so hard to choose where to go on a Saturday back then.. So many amazing clubs/raves etc!!.. My 18th was at number 12.. My birthday is 25th Oct and we got an extra hour as the clocks changed!!.. love your stories 🇬🇧

Lazerdrome was a great venue when under the influence!!! lol Dugs, any chance of a roller express diary? I loved that place , was there for most Saturdays between 91 and 94 . Saw so many crazy things in there!!! Love your channel bro! It makes my journey into work that little bit easier !!! Keep up the good work UD!!!!

My 18th birthday was spent at Dreamscape 7,1993 first pill too, was a flatliner! Took half for a laugh, didn't feel anything, took the other half and kapow lol the rush was unbelievable. easygroove and sy happy, happy days :)

Loved lazer drome….dr s gachet,Randal, mc white lox…queuing up them stairs to get in hiding bits and pieces from fish and the boys,ears ringing for days after……..probably lazer drome and wax club telepathy not for the faint hearted but great times……😎

Used to travel up as a spotty little white boy aged 17. Everything was as you said Dugs. Seen a few people get shoved into that back bit with the security. Not somewhere I would want to go. 1993/94 NYE was an experience. Helicopter Tune was the tune of the night. Bukem etc. Amazing dark and proper club!

We used to drive up from Surrey every week never had no trouble. My innersense membership card I still 4:19 have is silver and green. Sarah hb then as you say midnight booom in we all go. Find your spot on the balcony . Happy days with mr fish .. real good times

I went think it must have been a couple of years later. Club definitely had an edge. You had to keep your wits about you. Never saw any trouble and still had a good night.

Used to go up to Lazerdrome late 93 up to 95. Easy drive up from Hastings ... Dont forget the dodgy bridge that appeared to sway, good vantage point to watch the DJs...lots of tunes got played there ... week in week out jungle ... Clubs like that will never ever be replicated...go find 'Break the Bank Night' Randall set with MC Fats ... Timless ... RIP R and FATS ♥️

Lazerdrome - Dark and moody and proper moody bouncers who lunged their torches at u in a very mean fashion - I liked the bridges and remember the amazing DJ Sets n lazers - I recall a huge screen in one of the rooms with projectors - went a couple of times but not my fav place as could sense ultimate danger x Tbh I felt brave being in there at 21 "!" But glad I went x

Firm ways and mind games . Kids would piss themselves if they went through that and the majority of time I went thru it they were trying to get rid of me from where ever i was cos they wanted to stab the geezer next to me but instead of just coming up and asking me to move they'd walk past one after the other flashing a blade and I'd gradually see the people on the left and right of me had disappeared but I wouldn't give in to the mind game and got freaked out over nothing 😭 it normally happened on snowballs or it didn't happen but someone definitely always got stabbed and I wish they just ask me to move in the first place instead of doing the mind games . Kids know nothing about firm ways .. we don't even have firms now like we did bk then who had mastered the art of intimidating people without saying a word that wouldn't have been heard over a 10k Sound system, some places you had to stay on the dancefloor and not go exploring bk then , I think one club night was called Innersense , funny name looking bk cos you needed inner sense in that place
