John's songs create amazing word pictures. His songs are as fresh today as they were almost 50 years ago. Great to see him still going strong.

Absolutely the most handsome man in the entire world! I am so excited to see him in Oklahoma in January 2019! He seems to be such a humble and nice person as well. I must say I am head over heels for Mr. Fogerty!

When Armed Forces Viet Nam Radio would start its midnight 'rock and roll music' hour; in Jan 1969 they would quite often begin with Creedence....... there was a period of time when we would have attacks launched (rockets and mortars fired only)...that we swore the VC were using the Creedence song to signal the attack;....it happened like 3 or 4 times.....that month.... John Fogerty is a master of masters....and I love this interview. Thank you so much....funny it was done so long ago already.

Uncle Joe lets John answer the questions he asks. So many interviewers don't allow it.(aren't comfortable? are not allowed? I don't know) I feel a difference here. It's good.

I just googled Green River Syrup. Two different designs came up, I'm not sure which one is John's. But he did say it reminded him of the Sun Records label, so I'm guessing it's the yellow and white one, not the green one.

He wrote All of CCRs hits and yet his band mates instead of being grateful, betrayed him by selling their rights to the owner of Fantasy records Saul Zaentz. Even his own brother Tom betrayed him by doing that since Zaentz was his worst enemy. Eventually Zaentz even sued him to stop him from playing CCR songs live. What craziness! He couldn’t play his own songs live even but he eventually got a ruling in his favor. But the damage was done already and he became very bitter and angry and didn’t play live for years. And he refused to play with the two ex band mates again at the HOF awards show! Because the bass player told him money was more important than the music. He sold him down the river. But luckily the legal troubles are over and Saul Z the POS is dead. Good riddance!
@jamesbradshaw33894 жыл бұрын
I bet that Saul Z is wiser now, not so full of greed and I bet if he had the chance to come back he would not nasty, greedy and would give John and all the boys in the band the full and correct right

No matter what the other members thought about John being the Star, He WAS the star. Instead of going along for the ride, play and get paid well, they wanted more say in the band. SO John allowed the other guys to write and sing their songs and the Album FLOPPED. John called it but the other guys were jealous and wouldn't listen.

nice guys always finish last, truer words have never been spoken. Just look at how this awesome dude was stabbed in the back and betrayed by his band-mates and even his own brother for some nickles. Money corrupts all.
