As our little creek enters the duck pond, usually the water flowing under and around two Willow tree roots. It is one of my favorite spots on our seasonal creek. the beautiful curves and it makes a lovely gurgling, "babbling brook" sound.
The handful of stuff I removed from under the arch of the tree root included leaves, catkins from the birch tree, twigs from the apple and spruce trees, silt and muck, and other decomposing gunk.
I love this property and am so grateful for everything about it and that my 'daily chores' can include removing debris - it truly is "oddly satisfying"! 🤪
