We are so glad you are here! Welcome to our channel!
1. We are in Oklahoma near the Arkansas border.
2. We do this on a volunteer basis.
3. Kim aka Mom is retired. Jennifer owns her own business as a massage therapist.
4. We film multiple locations in one day since we can’t go out all the time given Jen’s full time job. You may not see all the locations we filmed that day in one video.
5. You may see other people in our videos at times including Granny aka Sue (mom’s mom), Jeff (Kim’s husband and Jennifer’s dad), or Jessica (Jennifer’s little sister) and Lucy (our beautiful, amazing, wonderful dog).
6. Many wonder why we put stuff down culverts. A few reasons: it provides help for wildlife, we like to and it would have gone downstream anyway. If it blocks another culvert then we will take care of that too but most of the locations we visit are in incredibly rural areas where there won’t be another culvert for miles.
7. We care about wildlife and never want to cause harm to them. The only reason we will clear a beaver dam is if it is threatening land or roads that can not be accessed any other way. It may not be the road directly within sight but a farm road close by.
8. We appreciate advice in the comments. We understand that we will receive constructive criticism in the comments. What we won’t allow is the calling of names, derogatory terms, or just plain calling us stupid or idiots. We are all adults here and the internet is already a largely negative place as it is, let’s not add to it. We are people doing our best to help our neighborhood and planet by picking up trash and clearing culverts. Why do we deserve hate for that?
9. You may not agree with or like the way we did something but that doesn’t mean we did it wrong. There is a right/wrong way to dismantle a bomb. Clearing culverts is up for interpretation to the one doing the work.

Just sitting down with hot tea to enjoy your video, always enjoyable. Nova Scotia has just suffered two extreme heat days. A thought, buy some soft gel freezer packs and put in a fanny pack to chill your back while working in the heat. Hard freezer packs stay cold longer but I find hard against me when working in the heat.

Hello Jen and Kim! Just imagine that if DOT sent an excavator to clear some rocks from those low culvert inlets, we wouldn’t be here enjoying your labour! I came in for lunch after working all morning in the garden and d still have lots of seedlings to plant somewhere. Oh Jen, please get knee pads. I spent my working life as a paramedic, kneeling in/on all sorts. Now I have arthritis in my knees and when I saw you down in front of that first little culvert my knees got sore for you. Take care of them, but gel lined knee pads. They work really well xx❤❤

Ole Lucy Lu with her sleepy eyes is so cute and she knows she is one of the lucky ones. I live on dog and cat dump road and it pisses me off. I have taken in many but have had to take most to the pound. I can't save them all but the ones I have are great pets!

Jen, Harbor Freight sells knee pads with a hard shell over the knee. I have used them for kneeling on rocks, laying pavers… easy on, easy off.. perfect for what you are doing!

with these past 48 hour so far heat advisory’s staying in. Least in my area of Arkansas you have to get it done by 10:30 am if not it has to wait until 4:00pm between that good way round get a heat stroke or a good way to get one.

Jen usually tried to get the videos together and upload them that night sometimes the next day. Then over the next couple of days she watches and edits them. We have are a little ways ahead so you are watching videos that we filmed a month or so ago. We are working hard since we don’t get rain in July and August.

Sometimes but we covered hundreds of miles of territory so we do t get back to them super often.

I would try standing up stream & use the potato rake to pull the rocks towards me. Or just kinda rattle the smaller ones around & that starts some sediments moving more current will start flushing more sediments larger sediments well it has worked for me A long time ago BUT still ❤ what you are doing
