What component of concrete hardens though? The cement or the ballast?
@grantparnes
@grantparnes 2 ай бұрын
@@rimmersbryggeri Concrete is sand, water, rock (aggregate) and "cement". Get sand wet and it's just wet sand. Get rock wet and it's just wet rock. Get water wet and it's still water. Get cement wet (think home depot bag) and it's hardens like concrete.

I would have removed that small tree close to the inlet completely, as long as it can be ripped out by hand. This will just cause future problems and at some point make it impossible to clean that culvert.

Why do you have so much passion about roads that you don't own? Seems sorta nuts. Makes for good vids I guess even though this is not anywhere close to being here and now. This is from a long time ago.

Many, many people have passions about 'things they don't (or can't) own'. It seems perfectly normal to me, and often praiseworthy, to be passionate about things in the world we live in. Whether it's old steam trains, new species of spiders, child welfare, dark-leafed dahlias, cloud formations, a religious belief, litter-picking, fish populations in a local river, bantam chickens, a specific sports team or one of many, many other things, there's something that almost everyone can find a passion for, even though actual ownership of many, or even most, of those things is either impossible or impractical. Passion for a sports team is so common as to be almost 'expected', and passion for religious beliefs is more common in the USA, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan and Iran than in most other countries around the world.

That's a problem on your end. This is recorded in 4k
@module79l28
@module79l28 2 ай бұрын
@@post.10 - The problem is not the resolution, it's the frame rate. When you upload in 60 fps it doesn't match my country's mains' frequency (50Hz) and the video stops every few seconds until YT automatically switches to a playable resolution, which in this case is the first non-HD: 480p. I can't even switch it higher manually because YT will switch it back down. When you upload in normal frame rates like you usually do (25 fps or 30 fps), I have no problem watching the videos in HD, FHD or even 4K. There's no point uploading videos in 60 fps because the human eye can't detect the difference to 25 or 30 fps. Higher frame rates are only useful when you want to play videos with high speed objects in slow motion.
