This is my favorite spot you do! Did you ever find out if there were other culverts there? I remember you saying there were other poles/markers that could indicate buried culverts.

i am kinda surprised with how often that particular spot gets blocked up, that you havent taken a set of shears and cut down the cat tails and tall grass.good job on keeping it open after you dug down 4 feet or so to uncover it
