It’s so nice to know that there are rules for this! Some couples just think we wing it! 🤣

Same girl! How’s it coming along? I don’t think I’m going to go Thai traditional… I’m sticking to one song I like for the processional

This helps a lot! Thank you! Ladies how did your weddings turn with just you planning it yourselves?
@UncommonCamellia2 жыл бұрын
@@kizziebeaty5841 If you plan yourself, hire a day of coordinator to enjoy all your hard work. If it is not in the budget, ask a friend of a friend to stand in as your coordinator

This is great because so many people are confused when it comes to who walks down first/the order. I find most people want to use the traditional way, so this is very helpful 👍🏼

Thank you for this! Question: at what point does the ring bearers walk down? After the flower girl and before the bride? Thank you!
@adriennebrink81773 жыл бұрын
Thank you! The ring bearer walks before the flower girl or with her :) Both before the bride processes.

I’m in the same situation, and have to walk my daughter down the aisle. Trying to balance it all!
@monicataylor78712 жыл бұрын
how would you work around a small ceremony. we are having ours at a small registry chapel. there is still an isle and such but it's groom, best man, one maid of honour, flower girl, ring bearer and I walk myself down the isle. as far as I know the venue only accommodates one entrance song and one exit song. would I be best to just get an instrumental version of the entrance song that is long enough to cover my maid of honour, daughter(flower girl) and myself, would it be weird to use the same song?

should the bearers stand with the bestman and rhe groom while waiting for the bride?

Who gets them to do all this on the day of, and what would you suggest doing if the party is very small and basically everyone you just described makes up nearly all of the guests and you wouldnt have anyone to be an audience to the procession?

I have a Question. So if the groom is seating his parents or my mother. what is the processional order?
@UncommonCamellia4 жыл бұрын
The officiant still walks up first. Then begin with the Seating of the Parents When the Parents of the Groom process, the Groom joins them and then takes his place next to the officiant. Have the best man and groomsmen take their places after all parents are seated, during the wedding party processional. They can head to the alter or to escort bridesmaids.

What if I only have a best man and Maid of Honor? No groomsmen or bridesmaids. In my case it would be: flower girl, best man, maid of honor, mother of the groom with spouse, father of the groom with spouse. And grandparents on my fiancé’s paternal side.

Never seen it where the parents/grandparents come out to music..at the weddings I've been to, they've already been seated

Can you tell me because I'm confused a little about the groom, does he go back for his parents to seat them after already being up there or if he's walking down with his parents does he do so after the grandparents ?
@UncommonCamellia2 жыл бұрын
In most modern weddings I see one of 2 things. 1. the officiant and groom process first. Then the parents and grandparents. Then the wedding party. OR 2. The officiant goes first, then the parents of the groom process with him. Then the rest of the parents and then the wedding party. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Is it common for the best man escort the maid of honor
@UncommonCamellia4 жыл бұрын
Yes that is very common. I’d say 30% of our couples go that route. Most popular is the best man waiting at the alter and the Maid of Honor walking alone.
