What a man
you know it's a bright and shiny day
I want to say something to you
I love you just like Ja do
We know a place
where Ja's people can run free
a new kind of love
and we call it agape
Don't take too long to find
true love transcends all time
that non-reacting, everlasting love
Give me your unconditional love
the kind of love I deserve
the kind I want to return
Give me your unconditional love
the kind of love I deserve
the kind I want to return
Don't try to change or tear your
brother down
let him make his mistakes
and he will come around
hasten just to pray and Ja's true
word obey
in non-reacting, everlasting love
Give me your unconditional love
the kind of love I deserve
the kind I want to return
Give me your unconditional love
the kind of love I deserve
the kind I want to return
Give me your unconditional love
my torn heart to discern
this agape love to learn
Give me your unconditional love
my torn heart to discern
this agape love to learn
Hasten just pray and Ja's true
word obey
in non-reacting, everlasting love
Give me your unconditional love
the kind of love I deserve
the kind I want to return
Give me your unconditional love
the kind of love I deserve
the kind I want to return
Give me your unconditional love
my torn heart to discern
this agape love to learn
Give me your unconditional love
my torn heart to discern
this agape love to learn
Give me your unconditional love
my torn heart to discern
this agape love to learn

The year is 1983 and am in form 3. Am a young man who loved life and this song is playing all over and we danced selflessly to it during all the Saturday high school dances... it was great and 34 years later it it is still great. Good memories.

@@brianingudijuma9616, If you were 5 when you heard this in 87 then you would have been born in 1982. You missed out on this classic stuff. When this song was a hit in 83 you would have been 1 years old. You 80s babies have no idea what talent you missed out on like Donna Summer

I was a couple months shy of 13 when this was released in 1983. I used to sing & jump around to this tune while watching MTV. MUSICAL HISTORY FACT: In 1982 Musical Youth was the first blacks ever to be aired on MTV with "Pass the Dutchie". Michael Jackson, would follow about 6 months later as being the first black ever to get heavy rotation play on MTV with "Billie Jean".

I saw the musical youth in lagos in 1983 on their world tour at the national theatre iganmu brilliant band they were at that time and it was the pressure that made them quit from the band in 1985 only 3 years and one of the members died in 1992 Patrick waite playing the guitar at his home due to mental health issues and the other junior playing the drums 🥁died also RIP and its only 3 of them now the two little brothers and Dennis with the specs the lead singer both alive and kicking they were the British version of the Jackson 5 👌👍🙏

It was the height of Disco and the last song played on the dance floor was "Last Dance!" I remember it like it was yesterday when I danced the night away to all her music. It was late 1970s when Disco was at its height and glory but this song and Pass the Dutchie were special and different, they apealled to a more spiritrual plane. My Mother and Oldest Sister battled Cancer, my Mother lung cancer and my sister breast Cancer. Now they are awaiting the resurection. RIP Donna Summer Agape

Love Donna Summer. Did she ever stop singing and giving? Her music and legacy lives on and on. Thank you LaDonna and the Gaines family and Bruce and her daughters. I live in Nashville and heard Donna sing once in the congregation at church. Graduating from Belmont University in music business...I turned around in church and it was Donna. Singing and praising. Just grateful.
