I’m a visual learner and I read on how to create this from the blog post buy I’m still a hesitant so and the blog didn’t really give any details as far as the construction of the base. Hi Gabrielle! What about a video describing how with the miniature version to demonstrate? I'd be willing to do that, especially with the response this project has been getting the past few weeks. Unfortunately the blog is vague because we made this before I even had a blog and didn't take as many progress pics/notes. It was honestly some random thing we did I didn't think anyone would care about! lol The base could be anything heavy to keep it weighted and hold the pvc pipe upright. We used 2x4's if I remember correctly but you could probably even use cinder blocks...

What gage wire are you using for the limbs?

What were your measurements for each side? I’m trying to recreate this tree for a church production and i get the concept. Just want to make sure its the right size with the correct measurements

I don't remember the exact measurements, but for the base was about 2ft x4ft made from 2x4's with cross boards holding the pvc pipe in the middle. For the actual paper bag I created one from Kraft paper proportional to a smaller paper bag but 15 ft long. Hope this helps!

That's, great! I'd love to see pictures. The size wire depends on how long you make the branches and how heavy you decorate them...I used a pretty thick gague, I think it was between 60-80, but if I were to build it again I might go thicker!
