Keep a lookout for the forthcoming e-course videos. Leonie.e.Brown ARTist (www.lifeart.co.za) and owner of LifeART School and studio, is busy putting together an e-course for those that want to Learn to Paint from the beginning. The course will be called: Painting for Dummies and will include short term workshops as well as long term painting courses. You will be able to choose if you want to learn for the shallow and and become a 'professional swimmer / artist" or if you want to dive straight into the 'deep end'! Keep a eye on this station and also write in on the LifeART School website for more info. www.lifeartschool.co.za

I live in NM, where it's very dry, so when I do the paint strips they dry within 10 minutes... (TnT)

I live where it's high and dry also. Use Golden OPEN Acrylics. Your drying problem with acrylics is over.

U can also add slow drying medium to ur paint or just add some glsterene to ur water. It will slow down the drying time.
@LifeArtAcademy7 жыл бұрын
You can add slow drying medium or glycerine to your mixture. The glycerine will make it more smooth, easier to blend and keep the paint wet. You can also add the glycerine to your water / washing bucket.

Over watering your initial paint layer makes for a very weak first layer that can affect the entire painting in the future...
