I’m starting to feel cheated by the school I attended… I am going to take this video as permission to get lost in the details, lost in the process, and not care if a drawing or painting takes me 200 hours… a wise man from Toy Story once said, “you can’t rush art” I wish I had held fast to those words. The reason why they are not encouraging spending 200 hours on a piece at school is that its not practical. No one says you shouldnt do it but most people dont have 200 hours to spend. Thats also why you are given many tools, tips, techniques, tricks etc to be more efficient.
