Loved this. I've had Clarks on my amazon list for months, but never purchased. Have you ever had customers complain about coasters not as waterproof after sometime? That's my biggest worry that eventually with wiping them down a lot the wax will wear off.

We haven’t had yet complaints but we also advise our customers with care instructions about reapplication and cleaning.

We never made candle jars but from what we heard from other creators, a wax sealer might not be the best option. We heard good things about HSeal for that purpose 😊

Comments like this are everything 🤍 We use the wax for all our products. We just tried the gloss sealer and we were quite happy with it but we think between for example the wax and the gloss sealer, can also be a matter of taste. Personally we prefer a matte finish but there might be a product that we will launch only with a glossy finish. To test how people would react to the different finishes, we would present the same product with the different finishes on a market for example and see which one people respond better to. In person interaction always helps 😊

How long should I wait with the sealing process? Until the pieces are completely dry? Does it make a difference if there is a lot going on so I don’t have time to seal immediately but much more like a week or two weeks later?

We usually wait for 24-48h to make sure the piece is completely dry after wet sanding. No, we also seal after a few days/weeks so we don’t see any problem with that 😊

Curious as to how you seal the inside of the candleholder? I'm thinking of switching to a liquid alternative as I am having trouble getting into small spots with a sponge..

You can also use a small/thinner brush to go on the more difficult spots 😊

No specific brush needed. Just make sure it’s saturated with the wax and it will work 😊

Hi. The experience we have is that the wax only enhances the original color. We have white items and they still remained white.

No, jesmonite is heat resistant and will be able to handle a hot coffee temperature.

We never made candle containers to be able to say 100% sure it’s possible but hearing from other creators, might not be the best option for that purpose. We heard good things of HSeal for candle containers. Hope that helps 😊

We never tried that material so we cannot advise on it.

How long dies it take to fully cure and dry? How durable the wax after it dry? Is it just sealer, or does it also act as durability layer?

Around 30 min. It’s a sealer that also acts as a durability layer but we cannot say how durable it would be depending on the usage of the piece and cleaning products applied. Always better to conduct your own tests for the purpose of your pieces.

@@hassanahmed1755 no, it doesn’t feel sticky and it dries matte. Not sure about cleaning products but we only advise cleaning with water of necessary. We sell our products as decorative items only.

Hi! It’s used for concrete so we would say that it would also work on cement but we cannot guarantee because we never tried.

Using a food safe wax (this one is) won’t make the original material food safe. Always good to check if the base material you use is food safe.
