Everything you've said about Fullerton is exactly why I live here. If you have school aged kids - our schools are some of the best in the state. The park areas are incredible. Walking, hiking, biking, bar crawls - we literally have it all here. It's a beautiful town to call home.

So True! Growing up in Pasadena Arcadia we'd head to OC for vacations and rent a house for a couple of months. Newport was known as 'Arcadia by the Sea' Cheers Maggie 😎

The only way to make it from Fullerton to Downtown LA in 30 minutes is to drive at 4AM - or maybe Sunday at 11AM.. M-F fuggedaboutit. Clever commuters can use a mix of freeway and surface streets (Rosecrans west combined with other large streets/the freeways) on weekdays and maybe if they are lucky make it in 45 minutes or an hour. The key is leaving on the freeway BEFORE 5:15 AM or after 10:30 AM heading west M-F. It ain't the miles -- it's the traffic.

Don't move here! The schools aren't that great, except for just a few. The roads are a mess. It becomes grungier and grungier every year. You are better off to move to nearby Brea, Placentia, or Anaheim Hills. Or branch out a bit to Orange, or La Palma, or Cypress.
