My family from California visited Samal Island and stayed at the resort. It was very safe. Then we flew to Dakak Resort and stayed for another 3 days, it was very safe. We flew to Bohol via Davao afterwards and spent a total of 18 days in southern Philippines and it was very very safe...

Fabulous Harry how you bought all the staff at shell & 7 eleven the Harry & Cadbury chocolate bars. So you didn't liks Durian😂. 3-5 rush hour on the Durian😂. Love how you interact with the fisherman family at the house and the people all around and drinking the water from the pump. Timu the Banana man. 50 years old😂, such great fun at the market Harry potter. Great fun at the basket ball court. Love the england telephone box and Ronald McDonald and all the memorabilia in the middle of nowhere. I had to keep watching to see you finally find your accommodation.chin chin & joy joy😂. Some of the Mindanao people's they didn't understand english unless your talking to a highschool student or college students they can understand you. Btw im from Mindanao Kidapawan North Cotabato theres a lot beautiful places to go on there like Mt.Apo but you must take care because theres a lot NPA in our city. For example if you want to build a Jollibee there you must give a tax to NPA and if its not they destroy it. When i was there our road is not built of cement its built of limestone or white softly rocks and now our government wants to pave our road then the NPA wants to ask tax then our government is not giving tax all the bulldozer and dumtrack they burned everything. That happened in Anao Kidapawan North Cotabato thats what the npa do to us.

In April 2023 I visited Davao, Digos City, Malita , Mati, Samal Island and places in between. It was a fantastic experience. Great food, cheap cold beer, friendly and polite people in a beautiful country. Daghang gugma gikan sa New Zealand !

Hi, Harry! I'm from Davao. It's so unfortunate that you have missed a lot of opportunities to check out the nice places here in our province. When you went to Samal, you could have gone to the nice white sand beaches there and over viewing sights, and you missed the beautiful Hagimit Falls and also, you could have tried cliff jumping in Canibad. And now you've gone to Kapatagan, it's probably the most famous tourist spot here in the province of Davao del Sur. If you could have just driven a little farther, there are a lot of resorts along that high stretch of Kapatagan road. Most of the resorts are located on the hilltops where you could have enjoyed the nice view over looking the valleys and the mountains, plus their rooms are way much cheaper and way, way nicer than the one you got. I'm sorry you got a terrible accommodation. Well, I guess this is what happens when you go on trips with unplanned itinerary. I still hope, you had a nice time though.

Hey I love your videos about the Philippines! Well done! You are so great dealing with the locals and you are totally not shy to approach anyone, I wish I could do that lol. I was in Davao last year great city. By the way they speak Visaya (Bisaya) in Mindanao not Tagalog. Not that they don't understand it but for example Mabuti (Tagalog) can be replaced with Okay Lang (it's good/I'm okay)... At the end you made a miscalculation I agree the rooms are not 5 star but it's less then 40 Euro and probably around 34 USD. Not 100 dollar per night... Cheers
