I would use it as a dry box for the cigars I plan to smoke for the day. Because you aren't supposed to store your cigars standing up. It would look good on my desk.

What are your thoughts on storing cigars vertically like that?

I’ve never stored cigars that way, and unless they are in bundles, I always see cigars laying on their side, so I’m not sure. I’m leaving those cigars in the humidor like that to see if spread out/separated by the wooden spacer they lose/absorb humidity quicker. What are your thoughts?

They are all touching the bottom of the humidor.

Did you season the wood?

I didn’t. I just put the cigars in and it has held beautifully since I recorded this video.

How do you put water in the humidifier? Do you just squirt it in the top of the grills?

Yes just gently soak the sponge inside the grill case.
