I love that he said at the beginning that because he knew who was getting the award he decided to return back from Australia to be there to present it. So sweet. Must have been incredible for everyone to see him given he almost died earlier in the year, what a wonderful show of appreciation for him. Adele's acoustic version of "Fast Love" at the beginning of the documentary about him "Freedom" that he was working on when he died, is just so beautiful - it is such a gorgeous tribute to him, so glad David Austin chose it (again, after GM died) to start off that remarkable and sad film. I haven't even been able to finish watching it, I was crying too much -

Firstly, Adele is not a rock singer, so I don't see the relevance of such a point. However, if you see her *recent* performances in her tour you will find she has a very powerful voice. Her voice changed massively from 2009, to 2012, to now. People like to get clips of her past and say how terrible she is. However, that is not even what she is most talented at. She is one of (if not, the) greatest female songwriters in history. Who else can move the masses with pure lyricism.
