Uncut video of ride from north entrance (Fusch an der Großglocknerstraße) to the top of the road on KTM 390 Adventure, just with sound of engine! Enjoy!

I visited this lovely Road with my Husqvarna Svartpilen this year. Next year i'll be back again with the KTM 390 Adventure. I am so exited already ! Thank you for this insight :) Btw. i drove from the other side up to the mountain (Heiligenblut) and stayed over night at the mountain in a shelter on the "Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe" . Had so much fun! Please if you visit the Großglockner, take your time! Don't rush through!

Thanks for sharing Rudolf, nice video and recording sound. May I ask what do you think about KTM 390 Adventure for riding in such road conditions, decent enough power? I am a fan of KTM 390 Adventure and waiting for the launching in my country (They postponed the grand event due to Covid-19), cannot wait to test ride it.
@rudolfkrcmar3 жыл бұрын
Hello & sorry for replying so late. Despite it might be not useful. I believe KTM has definitely decent power for smaller roads like these. You can even do highway slightly above 130 km/h cruising, but anything above you definitely literally squeezing power out of it. Yes, there are more power-full bikes, but it has enough power to deliver smile. Great bike to have fun, while staying within legal limits.

Great video Rudolf! I read that you captured the sound with a RØDE microphone near the exhaust. How did you mounted it and how come there is no aerodynamic noise? Did you use any fur windshield?
@rudolfkrcmar4 жыл бұрын
Yes I have recorded it to Røde Smartlav+ Lavalier (without any adjustments to mic). It was just taped with black solid tape on the back of the original KTM pannier, then cable run (also taped on some points for security) into panniers & recorded on Samsung S8 (I think). Honestly I am quite surprised by outcome to, because I managed to destroy that mic and replaced by Saramonic Lav, then connected to Røde Wireless Go which transmits it directly to DJI Action cam (which I used even here, I just got tried of syncing) and result is not that good - and now I am not sure if it is Saramonic Mic, Transmitter (due to volume management, despite I tried all 3 settings) or fact that I am recording it directly DJI Action cam. I even tried to record on Røde Wireless Go under the seat of Ducati second bike) and again not sure about the result. Last week I realised that I had wind noice cancelation on DJI on - which might have caused troubles, however I just need to experiment further, however winter is coming to Europe and I might not have chance to do it until March/April.... Will try to keep you posted if you subscribe ;)

Hello Rudolf, is it a stock exhaust and are you using a quickshifter? Can you share us your experiences please. Thank you for this content.
@rudolfkrcmar3 жыл бұрын
The exhaust is stock. In that video - I think I use quickshifter quite often. The one KTM 390 Adventure, is more on agricultural side of mechanics, rather then rafined Swiss watch approach, but it works in 99% of occasions. I have actually bought bike without it, but after I realised how much more often you change gears on these small displacements - I decide to put it in. Then if I remember correctly even KTM dealer advised not to overuse it, but I don’t know my pattern of using it - it just comes naturally :) Would I recommend quickshiter for this bike? Yes, I would. ;)
@rahuldev15414 жыл бұрын
Did you change front/rear sprocket? You’re bike’s low end torque is great. I can hardly clock 40 kmph in 2nd gear on my KTM 390 Adv.

@giorgoszamanis66544 жыл бұрын
@Kambojas Kambo dude, you are hilarious! I hope you are trolling. As Rudolf said, for replacing the original single cylinder's sound with a 2-cylinder one, it would take 1 hour to synchronise for just 1 minute of video. But I am sure that Rudolf has a super duper AI adaptive-learning software that does that while he is enjoying riding his bike.

@rodolfopaulovich3017 Жыл бұрын
@@rudolfkrcmar easy, pal ! Here's my way to upshift : When in motion, say in any gear, while you're revving it up just load the shift lever a bit, next when you reach your desired rpm simply and quickly close and open the throttle without using the clutch and holding the same load on the lever. To downshift : while in motion close the throttle, load the shift lever a bit and, at the same moment, quickly pull and release the clutch while open and shut the throttle. The gears should pass smooth and you'll get the trick soon ! If the bike has a quickshifter I'll only say it works better at high rpm. Buenas rutas !
