Reflection on part two: There's an air of playfulness to Prangdao's character that is endearing: it's somewhat puerile and docile but infectious. Her personality balances out the demeanor of Mook. Mook is sour whilst Prangdao is sweet but when combined together, you get sweet and sour sauce, which is tasty when it's applied on fried foodstuff. But none of that was seen in part two of episode six. What was displayed was Mook's cowardice and selfishness: when confronted by Prangdao's mother and by the press, she gave up and abandoned the ship that kept her and Pramgdao afloat. In the hospital scene where Mook hid Pramgdao's identity from onlookers by putting a coat over her head, was kind of symbolic of her stance regarding their relationship - it said that their relationship was to be hidden from the light. Thereafter Mook's brother called about her staring in a GL series. Oh the irony and self-flagellation! Yet we shouldn't be so harsh on them and the other characters that we have seen so far in this series. Let's recap: Mook is romantically into women (and perhaps men as well) - she might be bisexual; Prangdao is a baby gay; Songprod might be gay or bisexual or questioning; Songprod's father, from his past and present relationships, might be bisexual; Natty ( Nitta's sister and the person that leaked the video of Mook and Prangdao kissing in Club Hera) is a Sapphic whose parents have archaic views on gay relationships. And because of this,we should view Mook's and Prangdao's (and the other characters) main struggle as them versus an intolerable and unkind society that forces them to become "ninjas" that operate in the dark. Societal unkindness can account for how they act to a point, but like Nitta's sister, they are in control of their emotions, both good and negative. A prime example of that is Mook kissing a club-goer in Club Hera while a devastated Prangdao looks on. Mook needs to do better...before her future wife departs for England. On a positive note, I do like the fashion that is displayed in this series - each character's fabrics are modern and chic!
