Their last memories before they fell was of this lot and how they made them suffer. Revenge from the great beyond is a powerful thing. I am not certain how things work in D&D because it has been ages since I've played, and I didn't have an encounter with the undead when I did play, but I would imagine that a Cleric would have some very useful skills to use against these unholy creatures. Is there some sort of mechanic where you can disbelieve them? What if you don't believe in ghosts? If I remember correctly, there was a mechanic for shadow creatures and if you disbelieved them, they couldn't harm you.

@@eduardopena5893 I don't think disbelieving is a thing in 5e, as they are actual spirits in the magical world, so just like if you don't a believe a zombie to not exist, it wouldn't stop it from attacking. As for the Cleric, I don't think Greg has really specialized into taking care of undead but mainly focused on healing, he does have radiant spells and also Turn Undead, but the ghosts' CR is going to be enough to not apply for Destroy Undead.

@@Ruler0fWorlds Hey there, thanks for the reply. I have been out of the loop of D&D for quite some time and would love to play it again some time. A zombie is an actual, physical presence, though. There is a body coming at you, you can see it, it is tangible. You may not believe it is the undead, but it is something actually there coming at you. Ghosts and spirits are ethereal, though. They are not solid objects. The thing is though, I am sort of bringing the real world into a fictional setting where we already have established that undead things exist and are as real as everything else is there in D&D, like mythical creatures of Minotaurs, Dragons, and the like. I wasn't sure how Greg specced his Cleric build. You are right, he does have access to some radiant spells and attacks if he chose to claim them and use them. He can bless his weapon, for instance. One thing I am not sure of, but it is kind of a thing in other games that healing actually harms the undead. Not sure if that's a thing in D&D. Theses are also sort of home-brewed creations of Rob's. So he has tweaked them in some ways that we don't even know about. That Banshee wail really has the potential to mess the whole group up. I wonder how many times it can wail? Will the guys do their best to plug their ears so they can't hear it again?

Real quick I wanna talk about the thematics of the Pirag kill. Bob was unconscious, on the ground dying. Out of pure willpower alone, he opens his eyes and forces himself to his feet. A tactical spin and a well placed arrow brings Pirag to a vulnerable place heathwise. (I'd also like to think that for flavor it also distracts him a bit for Bodger to strike true). Pirag turns his head back to his current foe, only to be met with a swift hammer to the face. Time seems to slow as Bodger remembers his grandfather, gripping his hammer tighter while staring into the eyes of the monster that killed him. All of Bodgers muscles tense, and with a rageful yell, he cleaves the head off of his enemy from the bottom up.

I started shaking my head when Alan was mentioning taking out the orc to stop the ghost. Rob had said Pirag was not the one that controlled them, he just signalled to them that BATD showed up. I'm guessing Bone Caller is the one that raised them, they had options to go after the necromancer and decided not to, actions and consequences.

Too much to keep track of I guess, with everything happening around them, but Bodger being stunned would have had a big impact (with all attacks on him being crits and him not being able to take a turn). He could have used his Hero Token to cleanse the stun if he had remembered anyway, but Dirk's stun should definitely have had a bigger impact
